Think of foods that are light, cooling, and slightly astringent—stuff like fresh salads, cucumber, and leafy greens. Avoid too much spicy, oily or heavy foods, they tend to flare things up.
And, water. Drink plenty of it. Herbal teas like chamomile or mint can be soothing, too. Helps flush out those toxins and keep things clear!
As for, daily routine, you want to incorporate a gentle face cleanser made from gram flour (besan) mixed with a pinch of turmeric and milk. It acts like a natural exfoliant and brightens things up. Try applying it in the morning or night—whenever you get a chance!
Then there's the beloved sandalwood paste; it’s really as good as they say. Mix sandalwood powder with rosewater and apply it on your face like a mask, leave it for about 20 mins, rinse, and pat dry. It cools your skin down and helps with pigmentation and pimples.
