A few months ago, I got a tooth cap placed on one of my molars after a root canal. I assumed this would solve my problem, but ever since then, I’ve been experiencing discomfort. My gums around the tooth cap feel irritated, and sometimes, I experience sensitivity when drinking hot or cold liquids. The tooth cap also feels slightly different compared to my natural teeth, which makes chewing a little uncomfortable. The dentist assured me that everything looks fine, but I can’t shake off the feeling that my gums and nerves aren’t adjusting well.
