Hello Chaitanya, Managing diabetes in Ayurveda focuses on balancing the body’s internal energies, particularly by reducing excess Kapha and improving digestion (Agni). Since your fasting blood sugar and post-lunch sugar levels are high, it indicates that your body is struggling with insulin resistance or insufficient insulin production. In Ayurveda, herbs like Bitter Melon (Karela), Fenugreek (Methi), and Gymnema Sylvestre are commonly used to support blood sugar regulation. You can take 1 tsp of powdered Fenugreek seeds daily in warm water or make a tea from Bitter Melon. Additionally, incorporating Triphala, a combination of Amalaki, Bibhitaki, and Haritaki, can help improve digestion and detoxify the body. It’s also essential to avoid sugar, processed foods, and foods that promote excess Kapha. Could you share more details about your diet, exercise routine, and any medications or other supplements you're currently taking? Have you been diagnosed with any other health conditions, such as high blood pressure or cholesterol, which are common with diabetes?
