Hi Mamoona, Can you tell me if the hair growth and skin issues are more noticeable after a certain time of the month or if stress seems to exacerbate them? Also, do you notice any digestive problems, like bloating or constipation, alongside these hormonal imbalances? In Ayurveda, your symptoms suggest an imbalance in Kapha and Vata doshas, which can lead to weight gain, hormonal disturbances, and skin issues. To support your thyroid and hormonal health, I recommend using Ashwagandha to regulate thyroid function and reduce stress, and Shatavari to balance female hormones. For hair growth, Bhringraj and Amla can strengthen hair and reduce dandruff, while Neem and Aloe Vera can help with skin issues like open pores and pigmentation. For diet, focus on a Kapha-reducing, Pitta-balancing diet, incorporating foods like leafy greens, bitter vegetables, and whole grains while avoiding processed foods, excess sugar, and dairy. A regular exercise routine like yoga or brisk walking can help with weight management and improve circulation, which may also reduce skin and hair issues. A skincare routine with gentle exfoliation and the use of oils like Sandalwood and Rosehip oil may help improve uneven skin tone and texture.
