I am really confused about how to eat dried figs. A few weeks ago, I bought a big bag from the store because I heard they’re super nutrient rich and good for digestion, but honestly, I have no clue how to incorporate them into my diet. Sometimes, I just munch on them straight from the bag, but I wonder if there's a better way. I've read that they can be good in smoothies or even salads? But every time I try that, it feels kinda awkward, and the flavors just don’t mix right. Plus, I can’t shake this feeling that I might be missing out on their full benefits. Like, is there a right or wrong way to eat dried figs? Should they be soaked in water before eating? Or it is okay to just chew them as-is? I’m also a bit concerned about how many to eat in a day cause I’ve heard they can be pretty high in sugars. Just trying to figure out how to eat dried figs without overdoing it! Any tips would be awesome!
