Based on your symptoms -you feel the food is not being absorbed -you have to go to the toilet frequently after meals -you’re underweight and unable to gain weight

These symptoms suggest one or more of the following- 1)MALABSORPTION SYNDROME- your body is not absorbing nutrients properly

2)IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME(IBS)- diarrhoea predominant= overactive intestines, triggered especially after meals

3)HYPERACIDITY OR WEAK DIGESTIVE FIRE= as per ayurveda, if digestion is weak, food is not properly broken down, leading to loose stools and weakness.

4)CHRONIC GUT IMBALANCE- could be due to stress, gut flora imbalance, or past infections.

In Ayurveda, your symptoms suggest an imbalance of Vata and Pitta doshas, particularly: -Tikshna Agni- irregular or hyper digestion -Atisara- frequent loose motions or bowel urgency

This weakens your Ojas(immunity and vitality) and blocks Rasa dhatu(nutrient plasma), leading to poor nourishment and low body weight.

2) LEGUMES AND PULSES pulses are rich in protein but can be gas forming and harsh for sensitive guts. use only light and well cooked versions GOOD OPTIONS -yellow moong dal- best for weak digestion -massor dal- in small quantity, well cooked with ghee -split urad dal khichdi- once digestion improves

AVOID -chana, rajma, kidney beans, and black urad- heavy , gas producing

3) VEGETABLES vegetables should be well cooked, soft, and mildly spiced. Raw and undercooked vegetables will worsen digestion.

GUT FRIENDLY VEGGIES -lauki -tori -parwal -carrot -pumpkin -sweet potato -spinach use asafoetida, cumin , ghee , and ajwain in cooking to aid digestion

AVOID -cauliflower, cabbage, peas, and capsicum(gas-forming) -onion and garlic(initially as they irritate the gut lining) -raw salad or sprouts

4)FRUITS fruits are nourishing and hydrating, but must be chosen wisely to prevent worsening of bowel issues

SAFE AD NOURISHING FRUITS -banana(ripe)- best for weight gain and gut healing -Papaya- improves digestion, soothes stomach -stewed apple or pear- lightly cooked, easy to digest -chikoo- high calorie and gut friendly -dates and figs(soaked overnight)- rich in iron and calories

AVOID -citrus fruits like oranges, pineapple -watermelon - too cold and loose stools trigger -raw apples, grapes -too fibrous

ये लक्षण निम्न में से एक या अधिक का संकेत देते हैं-

1) मैलाबॉर्शन सिंड्रोम- आपका शरीर पोषक तत्वों को ठीक से अवशोषित नहीं कर रहा है

2) इरिटेबल बॉवेल सिंड्रोम (आईबीएस)- डायरिया प्रमुख= अति सक्रिय आंतें, विशेष रूप से भोजन के बाद ट्रिगर होती हैं

3) अश्वगंधा कैप्सूल (हिमालय/ऑर्गेनिक इंडिया/बैद्यंत)- 1. कैप्सूल दिन में दो बार सुबह और सोते समय दूध के साथ =वजन बढ़ाता है, तनाव कम करता है, रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता को मजबूत करता है

4) शतावरी दाने (झंडू/बद्यंत)- सुबह गर्म दूध के साथ 1 चम्मच =पोषण और शरीर के वजन को बढ़ाता है, खासकर महिलाओं के लिए

2) फलियाँ और दालें दालें प्रोटीन से भरपूर होती हैं, लेकिन गैस बनाने वाली और संवेदनशील पेट के लिए कठोर हो सकती हैं। केवल हल्के और अच्छी तरह से पके हुए संस्करणों का उपयोग करें अच्छे विकल्प -पीली मूंग दाल- कमजोर पाचन के लिए सबसे अच्छा -मसूर दाल- कम मात्रा में, घी के साथ अच्छी तरह से पकाई गई -उड़द दाल की खिचड़ी- पाचन में सुधार होने पर

पेट के अनुकूल सब्जियाँ -लौकी -तोरी -परवल -गाजर -कद्दू -शकरकंद -पालक पाचन में सहायता के लिए खाना पकाने में हींग, जीरा, घी और अजवाइन का उपयोग करें

इनसे बचें -फूलगोभी, पत्तागोभी, मटर और शिमला मिर्च (गैस बनाने वाली) -प्याज और लहसुन (शुरुआत में क्योंकि वे पेट की परत को परेशान करते हैं) -कच्चा सलाद या अंकुरित अनाज

4)फल फल पौष्टिक और हाइड्रेटिंग होते हैं, लेकिन आंत की समस्याओं को बिगड़ने से रोकने के लिए इन्हें समझदारी से चुनना चाहिए

सुरक्षित और पौष्टिक फल -केला (पका हुआ)- वजन बढ़ाने और पेट को ठीक करने के लिए सबसे अच्छा -पपीता- पाचन में सुधार करता है, पेट को आराम देता है -उबला हुआ सेब या नाशपाती- हल्का पका हुआ, पचने में आसान -चीकू- उच्च कैलोरी और पेट के अनुकूल -खजूर और अंजीर (रात भर भिगोया हुआ)- आयरन से भरपूर और कैलोरी

से बचें - संतरे, अनानास जैसे खट्टे फल -तरबूज - बहुत ठंडा और ढीला मल ट्रिगर -कच्चे सेब, अंगूर - बहुत रेशेदार

5) डेयरी उत्पाद अगर सही तरीके से इस्तेमाल किया जाए तो डेयरी आयुर्वेदिक वजन बढ़ाने और आंत को संतुलित करने का आधार है

सबसे अच्छा -गाय का दूध उबालकर गर्म करें- अश्वगंधा/शतावरी या सूखे मेवे डालें -घर का बना दही-ताजा, दोपहर के भोजन के दौरान ही- प्रोबायोटिक, आंत को शांत करता है -भुना हुआ जीरा+हिंग वाला छाछ-पाचन के लिए सबसे अच्छा -गाय का घी- अवशोषण को बढ़ाता है, ऊतकों को पोषण देता है, वात को संतुलित करता है

से बचें -ठंडा दूध -पैकेज्ड मिल्कशेक -पनीर-शुरुआत में पचाने में मुश्किल -पनीर प्रोसेस्ड

सबसे अच्छे मेवे और संयोजन -बादाम (5-6 प्रतिदिन, भिगोए और छिलके उतारे हुए) -अखरोट (1-2 प्रतिदिन) -किशमिश (10 रात भर भिगोए हुए) -खजूर (2-3 प्रतिदिन) -सूखे मेवे का शेक - दूध+केला+भिगोए हुए मेवे+गुड़ या शहद

इनसे बचें - भुना हुआ/नमकीन मेवा - काजू-भारी, पाचन में सुधार होने के बाद ही खाएं - दुकानों से मूंगफली का मक्खन, बादाम मक्खन जैसे नट बटर

8) मीठा आपको प्राकृतिक ऊर्जा स्रोतों की आवश्यकता है- लेकिन परिष्कृत चीनी से बचें

जीवनशैली और योग संबंधी सुझाव

दैनिक दिनचर्या -सुबह 7 बजे से पहले उठें -नियमित समय पर भोजन करें -भोजन के तुरंत बाद लेटने से बचें -थोड़ी देर टहलें-प्रत्येक भोजन के बाद 15-25 मिनट -गर्म पानी पिएं

Deepana and Pachana therapy

Deepana means stimulating digestion treatment especially for kapha dosha. It is an essential procedure before therapeutic emesis (vamana) and therapeutic purgation (virechana).

The best form of food to kindle digestion is foods like fats/oils

Pachana :- means digestion, cooking, boiling, baking, softening. In medical treatments, it denotes digestion or promoting digestion. It is an important treatment for indigestion.

Later Panchakaram

Snehana one of the most important therapies that prepares the body to receive specialized Panchakarma treatment. It involves the application of medicated oils, ghee and herbs to the body internally and externally for three to seven days

Swedana helps in detoxification and reestablishing the balance between Vata, Pitta, and Kapha in the body. The sweat glands are one of the sources that eliminate toxins from the body

Vamana: Emesis Therapy, involves controlled, medically-induced vomiting. It is aimed to eliminate excess Kapha Dosha in the body which can otherwise trigger a series of ailments like acne, asthma, arthritis, chronic cold and diabetes

Virechana:the controlled therapeutic purging for a specific time. The main purpose of this treatment is to remove imbalanced or excess pitta dosha

I’m more interested in chronic & lifestyle disorders—stuff like metabolic imbalances, stress-linked issues, digestive problems that linger and slowly pull energy down. I don’t rush into giving churnas or kashayams just bcz the texts say so... I try to see what fits the patient’s prakriti, daily habits, emotional pattern etc. It’s not textbook-perfect every time, but that’s where the real skill grows I guess. I do a lot of thinking abt cause vs symptom—sometimes it's not the problem you see that actually needs solving first. What I care about most is making sure the treatment is safe, ethical, practical, and honest. No overpromising, no pushing meds that don’t fit. And I’m always reading or discussing sth—old Samhitas or recent journals, depends what the case demands. My goal really is to build a practice where people feel seen & understood, not just “managed.” That's where healing actually begins, right?

Usually a mix of traditional Ayurvedic meds, Panchakarma (only if needed!!), changing food habits, tweaking the daily rhythm, and honestly... just slowing down sometimes. I’m also really into helping ppl understand themselves better—like once someone gets how their body is wired, things make more sense. I talk to patients about what actually suits their dosha, what throws them off balance, and how they can stop chasing quick fixes that don’t stick. Education's a big part of it. And yes, I’ve had patients walk in for constant cold and walk out realizing it’s more about weak agni n poor gut routines than just low immunity. Every case’s diff. Some are simple. Some not. But whether it’s a young woman trying to fix her cycles without hormones or a 6-year-old catching colds every week, I try building plans that last—not just short term relief stuff. Healing takes time and needs trust from both sides. End of the day, I try to keep it rooted—classical where it matters but flexible enough to blend with the world we're livin in rn. That balance is tricky, but worth it.
