HELLO PRITI,

You are experiencing -redness, irritation, and itching around your vaginal area -your partner also had redness and itching in the penis -both of you had sexual contact before symptoms began -you are also having kidney stones and taking homeopathy

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? This pattern suggests a genital infection that was like transmitted sexually. The irritation, redness, and itching usually point to one or more of these infections.

1) YEAST INFECTION(candidiasis) -caused by a fungus named Candida -Symptoms= redness, itching, white discharge(like cottage cheese), burning

2) BACTERIAL VAGINOSIS(BV) -caused by imbalance in normal vaginal bacteria -symptoms - foul smell, thin discharge, burning, irritation

3) SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED INFECTIONS -like chlamydia, trichomonas, Mycoplasma etc -these can spread from one partner to another during sex -may cause irritation in both male and female genitals

INVESTIGATIONS NEEDED(even before treatment )

1) VAGINAL SWAB TEST- to find if fungal, bacteria or STI- related infection 2)Urine test- to rule out urinary tract infection (UTI) 3)Pap smear- for general vaginal and cervical health 4) STD panel (if needed)- blood or swab tests for common STIs

FOR PARTNER -urine culture -STD screening

WHY THIS TESTS ARE NEEDED? To choose correct medicine - fungal infection needs antifungal, bacteria needs antibiotics.Taking the wrong medicine may delay healing

In Ayurveda, your condition related to YONI VYAPAD(diseases of vagina) -caused by imbalance of pitta(heat/inflammation) and kapha(moisture/infection) -infections like this are also related to shukra dushti - impurity in reproductive fluids due to lifestyle, diet, sexual practices or weakened immunity

TREATMENT GOALS -remove infection from inside and outside -restore natural balance of reproductive system -improve immunity and reproductive health -avoid recurrence -heal both partners completely

EXTERNAL TREATMENT(for itching/redness)

1) NEEM AND TRIPHALA VAGINAL WASH(as sitz bath) -take 1 tsp neem powder + 1 tsp triphala in 2 cups water -boils for 5 min, let cool, strain it -use to wash vaginal area 2 times a day

WHY- neem is antibacterial and antifungal, triphala reduces inflammation and promotes healing

INTERNAL MEDICINES

1) CHANDRAPRABHA VATI= 2 tabs twice daily after meals -detoxifies urinary and reproductive tract, anti inflammatory , balances all 3 doshas,

2) PANCHATIKTA GHRITA GUGGULU= 2 tabs twice daily after meals -purifies blood, fights chronic infections, improves skin and mucous health

3) MANJISTHA CAPSULES= 1 cap twice daily after meals =blood purifier, anti inflammatory , good for women reproductive health

4) ASHOKARISHTA= 15ml with water after meals =helps regulate menstrual and vaginal health, strengthens reproductive system

DURATION OF TREATMENT -minimum 21 days of regular ayurvedic treatment -in chronic or recurrent cases, 6 weeks ma be needed

LIFESTYLE AND DAILY ROUTINE

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO -wear cotton undergarments, change twice daily -keep the vagial area dry and clean-never use harsh soaps or chemicals -always urinate after intercourse -drink 8-10 glasses of lukewarm water daily - helps kidney and flush infection -maintain personal and sexual hygiene(both partners)

WHAT TO AVOID -spicy, oily, fermented, sour food -sugar, sweets, bakery, alcohol(candida loves sugar) -cold drinks, cold water -tight jeans or synthetic undergarments -having sex until completely healed

YOGASANAS -Bhujangasana= improves pelvic blood flow -Baddha konasana= great for reproductive organs -Vajarasana= improves digestion and urinary health -Setu Bandhasana= relieves pelvic congestion

PRANAYAM -Anulom vilom= balances body systems -Sheetali= cooling breath to reduce pitta -Bhramari= relieves stress, balances hormones

Do for 15-20 minutes daily, preferably in morning

DIET RECOMMENDATIONS -moong dal, oil rice, bottle gourd, ridge gourd, pumpkin, ash gourd -turmeric, coriander , fennel in food - pomegranate , amla, guava -cumin+coriander+fennel boiled water

AVOID -curd, cheese, panner -pickles, tamrind, tomato in excess -milk with salt, milk with sour food -junk food, bakery , noodles ,fried food

HOME REMEDIES

1) COCONUT OIL + TURMERIC PASTE(for external use) -apply gently over the irritated skin( not deep inside) -do this at night for soothing relief

2) PLAIN YOGURT(curd)- only if no fungal infection is confirmed -take 1 tbsp on empty stomach daily(natural probiotic) -can also insert plain curd externally if itтАЩs a bacterial infection

Aapki condition treatable hai- lekin complete recovery ke like done partners ka treatment and hygiene important hai

Aap ayurvedic medicine+lifestyle+home remedies + sexual hygiene follow Karen, to repeat infection hone ka chances bahut kam ho janta hai

Always get gynaecological check up and tests done

DO FOLLOW

HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL

THANK YOU

DR. MAITRI ACHARYA

Dr. Sanchi Damodhar
I am an Ayurvedic doctor with about 3 years of hands-on experience, mainly dealing with lifestyle disorders like PCOD, weight gain, diabetes, stress, and gut stuffтАФlike bloating or weak digestion or just that feeling somethingтАЩs off. I did my BAMS coz I was really drawn toward natural healing, not just the herbs part, but how everything connectsтАФmind, food, sleep, mood... all of it. What I really try to focus on is not just giving medicine n sending people off. I like to understand whatтАЩs behind the symptoms... like why their metabolismтАЩs slowed down or why they keep getting acidity despite eating less. ThatтАЩs where my work with diet and mindset come in. I use Ayurvedic principles, yes, but I also mix it with small practical stuffтАФdaily routines, sleep hygiene, stress release, food planning, whatever feels doable for that person. ItтАЩs not always about detoxes or strict regimens, though sometimes that helps too. Depends, really. IтАЩve seen good results when people actually get that they donтАЩt need to do huge things. Just right guidance at the right time. I try to keep things light in consultation, make people feel heard, not rushed. I genuinely like when someone says тАЬno one explained it to me like this beforeтАЭ тАФ that feels nice. My whole approach is basically trying to make health feel natural again. Nothing fancy. Just rooted in the real Ayurvedic logic and a lot of listening. And yes, thereтАЩs trial and error sometimes, every case is different. But thatтАЩs what makes it kind of real. If you're dealing with any of those everyday-but-tiring health issues, IтАЩll do my best to figure it out with youтАФnot just for now, but in a way that holds up longer term.

Apke symptoms se yeh lagta hai ki aap dono ko koi infection ho sakta hai, jo bacterial ya fungal bhi ho sakti hai. Sabse pehle, yeh jaroori hai ki aap kisi qualified healthcare professional ko milen, especially ek gynecologist ko consult karein. Aapko bhi kisi medical professional ki direct guidance chahiye hogi.

Lekin Ayurveda ke angle se aap kuch measures le sakte hai joh iss situation me aapko thoda rahat de sakti hai:

1. Neem ka Upyog: Neem ke paani se dho baanch sakti hai kyun ki neem antibacterial aur antifungal properties se bharpoor hota hai. Aap neem ki pattiyan ubal kar uska paani thanda karke external use kar sakti hain.

2. Hygiene ka Dhyan Rakhe: Apne intimate area ko saf aur dry rakna jaroori hai. Cotton ke kapdon ka istemal karein jo maur breathable ho aur tight kapde pehnne se bachaen.

3. Sitz Bath: Germs ko dur rakhne ke liye, garam paani me thodi neem ki pattiyan daal kar sitz bath le sakte hain, jisse itching aur redness me bhi aram mil sakta hai.

4. Yogurt ka Sevan: Yogurt yani dahi probiotics se bhara hota hai joh aapne vagainal flora ko balance karne me madad kar sakta hai. Aap isse daily kha sakti hain.

5. Diet me Santulan: Turmeric, ginger aur garlic jyon inflammation-combating qualities ke liye jaanne jaate hein, unka upyog karen. Apne diet me unka istemal karen.

6. Stress Management: Stress immune system ko weaken karke infection ke chances badha sakta hai, to din me thoda meditation ya deep breathing exercises ka plan banayein.

Sabse jaroori, ghar ke upay aur kisi bhi antibiotics ya medications ka combination aapki doctor ki salah ke beena na karein. Infections are serious, aur yehe confident way ho sakta hai it handling ke liye. Pehle doctor ko dekhae, aur unka gypsum follow karein.

Aapke likhne se lagta hai ki aapko fungal infection ho sakta hai, jo common hai aur sexual contact se spread ho sakta hai. Sabse pehle, aap ko kisi qualified health professional ko milkar consult karna chahiye, kyunki accurate diagnosis aur treatment zaroori hai.

Siddha-Ayurvedic point of view se, yeh problem imbalance ki wajah se ho sakti hai, mainly pitta dosha ka imbalance. Aap apna diet aur lifestyle check karein. Teekha, spicy, aur acidic khana avoid karein and cooling foods such as cucumber, coconut water, aur sabjiyaan lein jo pitta ko balance karne me madad kar sakti hain.

Safed kapde pehne aur synthetic fabrics se bachne ki koshish karein. Yeh irritated area ko aur iski recovery ko impact kar sakti hain.

Natural remedies me neem leaves ka paste istemaal kar sakte hain, as neem is antiseptic aur antifungal properties rakhta hai. Neem leaves ko crush karke, paste banake directly affected area pe lagaiye aur 15-20 minutes ke liye chhod dijiye.

Daily aapne hygiene ka khayal rakhein. Cotton underwear pehniye aur infected area ko dhone k liye mild besan se banaye gaya cleanser istemaal karein, kyunki besan skin ko dry karega aur excess oiliness ko remove karega.

Lekin agar infection increase hota hai ya bohot discomfort hai, toh aap turant conventional medical practitioner ko dekhe taki timely aur effective treatment le sakein. Ayurvedic remedies sidelise na lein jab more pinpointed medical attention ki zaroorat ho.

Dr. Maitri Bhavesh Kumar Acharya
ChatGPT said: I am Dr. Maitri, currently in my 2nd year of MD in Dravyaguna, and yeah, I run my own Ayurvedic clinic in Ranoli where IтАЩve been seeing patients for 2 years now. Honestly, what pulled me into this path deeper is how powerful herbs really areтАФwhen used right. Not just randomly mixing churnas but actually understanding their rasa, virya, vipaka etc. ThatтАЩs kinda my zone, where textbook knowledge meets day-to-day case handling. My practice revolves around helping people with PCOD, acne, dandruff, back pain, stiffness in knees or joints that never seem to go away. And I donтАЩt jump to giving a long list of medicines straight awayтАФfirst I spend time figuring out their prakriti, their habits, food cycle, what triggers whatтАж basically all the small stuff that gets missed. Then comes the planтАФherbs (single or compound), some diet reshuffling, and always some lifestyle nudges. Sometimes theyтАЩre tiny, like sleep timing. Sometimes big like proper seasonal detox. Being into Dravyaguna helps me get into the depth of herbs more confidently. I donтАЩt just look at the symptomтАФI think okay what guna will counter this? Should the drug be snigdha, ushna, tikta? Is there a reverse vipaka thatтАЩll hurt the agni? I ask these questions before writing any combo. ThatтАЩs made a huge diff in outcomes. Like I had this case of chronic urticaria that would flare up every week, and just tweaking the herbs based on sheetala vs ushna nature... helped calm the system in 3 weeks flat. Not magic, just logic. I also work with women who are struggling with hormonal swings, mood, delayed periods or even unexplained breakouts. When hormones go haywire, the skin shows, digestion slows, and mind gets foggy too. I keep my approach full-circleтАФcleansing, balancing, rejuvenating. No quick fixes, I tell them early on. What IтАЩm hoping to do more of now is make Ayurveda feel practical. Not overwhelming. Just simple toolsтАФahara, vihara, aushadhaтАФused consistently, with some trust in the bodyтАЩs own healing. IтАЩm still learning, still refining, but honestly, seeing people feel in control of their health againтАФthatтАЩs what keeps me rooted to this.

I am a Senior Ayurveda Physician with over 28 years of clinical experience dedicated to the principles and practice of authentic Ayurvedic medicine. Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of treating more than 100,000 patients through both in-person consultations and online platforms. My approach is deeply rooted in classical Ayurvedic diagnosticsтАФsuch as Nadi Pariksha (pulse examination), Roga-Rogi Pariksha (patient and disease evaluation), and a personalized assessment of prakriti (body constitution). Over the years, I have successfully managed a wide range of health conditions across all age groupsтАФfrom acute infections and digestive issues to chronic and lifestyle disorders such as arthritis, diabetes, respiratory ailments, hormonal imbalances, and autoimmune conditions. I place strong emphasis on individualized care, combining herbal formulations, Panchakarma detox therapies, and dietary and lifestyle guidance to ensure long-term healing and disease prevention. My extensive experience also includes addressing complex, chronic illnesses that require a deep understanding of both the pathology and the patientтАЩs overall constitution. I have worked with patients who had previously struggled with little success in other systems of medicine, and have guided many toward sustainable recovery and improved quality of life. Whether treating elderly patients with degenerative disorders or young adults facing hormonal or metabolic challenges, I strive to offer care that is compassionate, comprehensive, and evidence-informed. My goal is to empower patients with Ayurvedic wisdom so they can take an active role in their healing journey. Dr. Anirudh Deshmukh
I am Dr Anurag Sharma, done with BAMS and also PGDHCM from IMS BHU, which honestly shaped a lot of how I approach things now in clinic. Working as a physician and also as an anorectal surgeon, IтАЩve got around 2 to 3 years of solid experienceтАФtho like, every day still teaches me something new. I mainly focus on anorectal care (like piles, fissure, fistula stuff), plus I work with chronic pain cases too. Pain management is something I feel really invested inтАФseeing someone walk in barely managing and then leave with actual relief, that hits different. IтАЩm not really the fancy talk type, but I try to keep my patients super informed, not just hand out meds n move on. Each case needs a bit of thinkingтАФsome need Ksharasutra or minor para surgical stuff, while others are just lifestyle tweaks and herbal meds. I like mixing the Ayurved principles with modern insights when I can, coz both sides got value really. ItтАЩs likeтАФknowing when to go gentle and when to be precise. Right now IтАЩm working hard on getting even better with surgical skills, but also want to help people get to me before surgery's the only option. Had few complicated cases where patience n consistency paid offтАФno shortcuts but yeah, worth it. The whole point for me is to actually listen first, like proper listen. People talk about symptoms but also say what they feelтАФand that helps in understanding more than any lab report sometimes. I just want to stay grounded in my work, and keep growing while doing what I can to make someone's pain bit less every day.

Dr. Suchin M
I am deeply passionate about the healing science of Ayurveda and firmly believe that even complex pathological conditions can be effectively managed through Ayurvedic principles when combined with appropriate treatment, lifestyle modifications, and diet. My approach to patient care is rooted in understanding the individual constitution (Prakriti) and identifying the imbalanced doshas that contribute to disease manifestation. After completing my BAMS degree, I have gained hands-on clinical experience for over a year, focusing on chronic lifestyle disorders such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and obesity. These conditions often stem from long-standing dietary errors, stress, and inactivity, and I strive to address not just the symptoms but the root causes through a holistic, individualized approach. During consultations, I begin by listening closely to the patient's complaints and history, followed by a detailed assessment of their Prakriti and doshic imbalance. I also take into account any previous medical treatments or diagnoses. Based on this comprehensive evaluation, I design personalized treatment protocols that include herbal medications, diet recommendations, and lifestyle adjustments tailored to the patientтАЩs unique constitution and presenting symptoms. While I am committed to the Ayurvedic system of healing, I also recognize the value of integrative care. In cases where immediate intervention is required, I support the inclusion of emergency allopathic treatment when necessary, always keeping the patientтАЩs well-being as the highest priority. My ultimate goal as a practitioner is not just to treat disease but to restore harmony in body and mind, guiding each patient toward long-term health through safe, natural, and effective Ayurvedic care.

I am someone who kinda started out in both worldsтАФAyurveda and allopathyтАФand that mix really shaped how I see health today. My clinical journey began with 6 months of hands-on allopathic exposure at District Hospital Sitapur. Honestly, that place was intense. Fast-paced, high patient flow, constant cases of chronic and acute illnesses coming through. That taught me a lot about how to see disease. Not just treat it, but likeтАж notice the patterns, get better at real-time diagnosis, really listen to what the patient isnтАЩt saying out loud sometimes. It gave me this sharper sense of clinical grounding which I think still stays with me. Then I moved more deeply into Ayurveda and spent another 6 months diving into clinical training focused on Panchakarma therapies. Stuff like Abhyanga, Basti, ShirodharaтАФlearned those not just as a list of techniques, but how and when to use 'em, especially for detox and deep healing. Every case felt like a different puzzle. There wasnтАЩt always one right answer, you know? And thatтАЩs where I found I loved adapting protocols based on what the person actually needed, not just what the textbook says. Alongside that, I got certified in Garbha Sanskar through structured training. That really pulled me closer to maternal health. Pregnancy support through Ayurveda isnтАЩt just about herbs or massage, itтАЩs like this entire way of guiding a mother-to-be toward nourishing the baby right from conceptionтАФemotionally, physically, all of it. That part stuck with me hard. My overall approach? ItтАЩs kinda fluid. I believe in balancing natural therapies and evidence-based thinking. Whether it's seasonal imbalance, hormonal issues, Panchakarma detox plans, or just guiding someone on long-term wellnessтАФI like making people feel safe, heard, and actually understood. IтАЩm not into rushing plans or masking symptoms. IтАЩd rather work together with someone to build something sustainable that really suits their body and where theyтАЩre at. In a way, IтАЩm still learning every day. But my focus stays the sameтАФuse Ayurvedic wisdom practically, compassionately, and in a way that just... makes sense in real life.

Dr. Hemanshu Mehta
I am Dr. HemanshuтАФright now a 2nd year MD scholar in Shalya Tantra, which basically means IтАЩm training deep into the surgical side of Ayurveda. Not just cutting and stitching, btw, but the whole spectrum of para-surgical tools like Agnikarma, Viddhakarma, and Kshara Karma... these arenтАЩt just traditional, theyтАЩre super precise when done right. IтАЩm not saying I know everything yet (still learning every day honestly), but I do have solid exposure in handling chronic pain issues, muscle-joint disorders, and anorectal conditions like piles, fissures, fistulasтАФespecially where modern treatments fall short or the patientтАЩs tired of going through loops. During clinical rounds, IтАЩve seen how even simple Kshara application or well-timed Agnikarma can ease stuff like tennis elbow or planter fasciatis, fast. But more than the technique, I feel the key is figuring what matches the patientтАЩs constitution n lifestyle... like one-size-never-fits-all here. I try to go beyond the complaintтАФlooking into their ahar, sleep, stress levels, digestion, and just how they feel in general. That part gets missed often. I honestly believe healing isnтАЩt just a тАЬprocedure doneтАЭ kind of thing. I try not to rushтАФspend time on pre-procedure prep, post-care advice, what diet might help the tissue rebuild faster, whether theyтАЩre mentally up for it too. And no, I donтАЩt ignore pathology reports eitherтАФmodern diagnostic tools help me stay grounded while applying ancient methods. ItтАЩs not this vs that, itтАЩs both, when needed. My aim, tbh, is to become the kind of Ayurvedic surgeon who doesn't just do the work but understands why that karma or technique is needed at that point in time. Every case teaches me something new, and that curiosity keeps me moving.
