Dr. Khushboo
I am a dedicated Ayurvedic practitioner with a diverse foundation in both modern and traditional systems of medicine. My journey began with six months of hands-on experience in allopathic medicine at District Hospital Sitapur, where I was exposed to acute and chronic care in a high-volume clinical setting. This experience strengthened my diagnostic skills and deepened my understanding of patient care in an allopathic framework. Complementing this, I have also completed six months of clinical training in Ayurveda and Panchakarma, focusing on natural detoxification and rejuvenation therapies. During this time, I gained practical experience in classical Ayurvedic treatments, including Abhyanga, Basti, Shirodhara, and other Panchakarma modalities. I strongly believe in a patient-centric approach that blends the wisdom of Ayurveda with the clinical precision of modern medicine for optimal outcomes. Additionally, I hold certification in Garbha Sanskar, a specialized Ayurvedic discipline aimed at promoting holistic wellness during pregnancy. I am passionate about supporting maternal health and fetal development through time-tested Ayurvedic practices, dietary guidance, and lifestyle recommendations. My approach to healthcare emphasizes balance, preventive care, and customized wellness plans tailored to each individual’s constitution and health goals. I aim to create a nurturing space where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their healing journey. Whether treating seasonal imbalances, supporting women’s health, or guiding patients through Panchakarma therapies, I am committed to delivering care that is rooted in tradition and guided by compassion.

HELLO DILIPSINH,

You mentioned you have 3-4 kidney stones, each about 3-4 mm in the right kidney, and you have a single functioning kidney(SFK). That means your left kidney is either removed, damaged or not working properly, so your right kidney is doing all the work. In such cases, we must take extra care to protect your remaining kidney. In Ayurveda, kidney stones are known as “Ashmari”- this word means “formed like a stone” in the urinary system.

WHY STONES FORM -agnidushti (poor digestion and metabolism) -Ama(toxins) accumulation -Kapha vata imbalance -excess of minerals like calcium, uric acid or oxalates in urine -Drinking less water -suppressing urine urges -excess consumption of salty, sour, spicy, fried foods

These imbalances cause the crystallisation of minerals and block the urine channels(Mutravaha srotas), leading to stone formation

TREATMENT GOALS -break down and dissolve the stones(litholytic action) -flush out small stones through urine -protect the only functioning kidney(support renal function) -prevent formation of new stones (anti-recurrence) -correct digestion and metabolism (balance agni) -detoxify urinary channels(srotosodhana)

INTERNAL MEDICATIONS

1) VARUNDAI KASHAYA= 20 ml + equal water twice daily before meals =breaks down stones, clears urinary obstruction

2) PASHANBHEDADI VATI= 2 tabs twice daily after meals =strong stone dissolving pain reducing medication

3) GOKSHURADI GUGGULU= 2 tabs twice daily after meals =diuretic, anti-inflammatory, supports kidney

4) CHANDRAPRABHA VATI= 2 tabs twice daily after meals =strengthen urinary tract, prevents infections

5) PUNARNAVA MANDUR= 1 tab twice daily after meals =improves kidney function, removes swelling

6) CYSTONE TAB(himalaya )= 1 tab twice daily after meals =helps in prevention and flushing out stones

DURATION= usually 2-3 months continuously

DIETARY AND LIFESTYLE ADVICES Diet plays a crucial role in preventing new stones and supporting kidney health

WHAT TO EAT -warm, light foods= khichdi, moong dal, barley, daliya -Plenty of fluids= aim for 2.5-3 L /day -Coconut water=naturally diuretic -Lemon water without sugar= prevents stone formation -Barley water -clears urinary tract -Vegetables= bootle gourd, ash gourd, cucumber, ridge gourd -Fruits= watermelon, papaya, amla -Spices= cumin, coriander, fennel, turmeric

WHAT TO AVOID -Tomato with seeds, spinach, beetroot= high in oxalates -Milk and milk heavy products= avoid excess panner, cheese -Oily, fried, spicy foods= increases toxins -soft drinks, coffee, tea, alcohol -non veg food- especially red meat -holding urine- avoid delaying urination

Regular yoga improves kidney circulation and helps detoxification

RECOMMENDED YOGA ASANAS -Vajrasana= after meals -Pawanmuktasana= relieves abdominal pressure -Bhujangasana -Dhanurasana -Ardha Matsyendrasana-gentle twist for kidneys

PRANAYAM -Anulom Vilom= balance vata and pitta -Sheetali= cools body, prevent stone formation -Bhramari= calming and anti inflammatory

AVOID EXCESSIVE PHYSICAL STRAIN OR HOLDING URINE

EFFECTIVE HOME REMEDIES

1) Jeera coriander fennel tea -boil 1 tsp each in 2 cups of water, reduce to 1 cup. sip warm, twice daily =helps digestion and acts as mild diuretic

2) BARLEY WATER -soak 2 tbsp barley in water overnight, boil, next day and drink throughout the day =helps flush urinary tract

3) LEMON JUICE WITH WARM WATER -fresh lemon juice in warm water every morning helps prevent stone formation - high in citrate content

4) BANANA STEM JUICE -100 ml daily-excellent natural lithotropic

5)COCONUT WATER -natural alkaliser and diuretic- prevents crystal formation

REPEAT ULTRASOUND= every 3 months

-your current stone size 3-4 mm is small and can usually pass naturally, especially with ayurvedic management -Ayurveda is highly effective In stone dissolution, recurrence prevention, and improving kidney strength, when followed properly and consistently

DO FOLLOW

HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL

THANK YOU

Having stones in the kidney, even without any pain or symptoms, is something that requires attention to prevent future complications. Since you’ve previously had surgery, it’s important to follow a comprehensive Ayurvedic approach tailored to your condition. To support kidney health and potentially help pass small stones, Ayurveda offers treatments focusing on balancing the doshas, particularly Vata and Pitta.

Consider including Punarnava (Boerhaavia diffusa) in your daily routine as it is known for its diuretic and anti-inflammatory properties which may aid in reducing stone formation. You can consume it as a tablet or churnam (powder), approximately 1-2 grams, twice a day, after meals with lukewarm water.

Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris), another excellent herb, is traditionally used to support the urinary system. Take it in capsule or powder form, about 500 mg twice a day. . This may aid in breaking down kidney stones and ease their passage.

Dietary changes are essential — decrease foods high in oxalates like spinach, beets, and chocolates. Instead, focus on a diet rich in water content foods like cucumber and watermelon. Drink plenty of water through the day, aiming for two to three liters, but avoid excessive water intake in a short time as it might stress your kidneys.

Incorporate yoga practices that stimulate the urinary system and overall kidney function. Postures like Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) or Dhanurasana (Bow Pose) can be beneficial if practiced regularly and safely according to your body’s limits.

While Ayurveda can be hugely supportive, it’s crucial to stay in touch with your healthcare providers for regular monitoring, especially given your past surgical history and any changes or emergencies that may arise. Make sure to consult with a professional before starting any new regimen, to ensure it aligns with your individual health needs.

Kidney stones, especially when recurring, indicate a deeper imbalance in the body’s doshas, particularly involving Vata and Kapha. From the Siddha-Ayurvedic perspective, we would focus on regulating your body’s internal environment to prevent further stone formation and support the elimination of existing stones. Let’s start with practical steps you can take at home, ensuring these suggestions don’t interfere with any ongoing treatment.

1. Hydration: Maintaining optimal hydration is crucial. Aim to drink plenty of water throughout the day, ideally warm water, as it helps dissolve the mineral aggregations forming the stones. You can consider warming spiced water with a pinch of cumin or ajwain.

2. Herbal Formulation: Varunadi Kashayam is traditionally used in Siddha medicine to support renal health and reduce stone formation. It can also prevent further exacerbation by balancing the Vettranai (Vata imbalance) linked to stone formation. Consult with a local practitioner to find this kashayam in your area and take it under their guidance.

3. Diet: Limit your intake of oxalate-rich foods such as nuts, spinach, and chocolate, as they can contribute to stone formation. Incorporate barley, kudzu (arrowroot), and bitter gourd into your diet, as they help in flushing out the toxins.

4. Lifestyles Adjustments: Engage in regular physical exercise which aids in proper metabolism and effective waste elimination. Practice dynamic asanas like Trikonasana or Surya Namaskar, keeping your body active and balanced.

5. Immediate Medical Attention: If you start experiencing pain or other symptoms, consult a healthcare professional immediately. Sudden pain might indicate stone movement, requiring urgent medical intervention.

Remember, these steps are preventive and supportive. Follow these diligently but consult your local Ayurvedic physician or healthcare provider for any specialized treatments to tailor this advice further, based on your body’s specific needs.

Dr. Deepali Goswami
I am Dr. Deepali Goswami, BAMS graduate n working mainly around women's health. Right now m running my own clinic where i treat all kind of gyne problems—from irregular periods to PCOD, white discharge, fertility-related issues, menopausal symptoms n lot more that affects everyday life of females. I usually try to keep the language simple while dealing with patients cause honestly half of them come already confused or like really scared of what's happening inside their body... and if I use too much technical terms it just make it worse. I’ve been practicing in this space for couple of years now—don’t remember the exact month, maybe two or three year back? but anyway, what matters is I’ve seen how many of these problems get ignored till they turn serious. That’s something I feel strongly about. My goal is to help women understand their symptoms early and explain how Ayurveda can help gently but properly, whether it’s hormonal stuff or pain or cycle issues. I use classic Ayurvedic concepts like dosha analysis, ritucharya, n yoni vyapad chikitsa wherever it fits, but sometimes modern lifestyle really needs to be factored in too. Like if someone working night shift, no point telling them to wake up at 5am and do abhyanga daily—it won’t work. I’m practical about it. Anyway, I try my best to create a space where women feel heard. Lot of them said nobody actually explained them what’s going on before. And that’s like the saddest part. I feel my biggest strength is really just listening n tailoring the treatment to her routine, diet n stress pattern. Some cases are harder of course... things don’t always go fast, esp when it’s been neglected for yrs. But then Ayurveda’s not magic. It takes a little time—but results feel real n lasting when done right.

Dr. Anirudh Deshmukh
I am Dr Anurag Sharma, done with BAMS and also PGDHCM from IMS BHU, which honestly shaped a lot of how I approach things now in clinic. Working as a physician and also as an anorectal surgeon, I’ve got around 2 to 3 years of solid experience—tho like, every day still teaches me something new. I mainly focus on anorectal care (like piles, fissure, fistula stuff), plus I work with chronic pain cases too. Pain management is something I feel really invested in—seeing someone walk in barely managing and then leave with actual relief, that hits different. I’m not really the fancy talk type, but I try to keep my patients super informed, not just hand out meds n move on. Each case needs a bit of thinking—some need Ksharasutra or minor para surgical stuff, while others are just lifestyle tweaks and herbal meds. I like mixing the Ayurved principles with modern insights when I can, coz both sides got value really. It’s like—knowing when to go gentle and when to be precise. Right now I’m working hard on getting even better with surgical skills, but also want to help people get to me before surgery's the only option. Had few complicated cases where patience n consistency paid off—no shortcuts but yeah, worth it. The whole point for me is to actually listen first, like proper listen. People talk about symptoms but also say what they feel—and that helps in understanding more than any lab report sometimes. I just want to stay grounded in my work, and keep growing while doing what I can to make someone's pain bit less every day.

Dr. Shaily Rathore
I am Dr. Shaily Rathore and my whole thing with Ayurveda started from a really personal space where I felt modern life was like... too fast, too noisy, and kinda disconnecting us from ourselves. I mean, there's this crazy ancient wisdom just sitting there in texts like Charak Samhita n Sushrut Samhita—and honestly, every time I read through them, there's always something new I hadn’t noticed before. Those classics don't just talk about herbs n diseases, they talk about how your lifestyle, emotions, food, sleep, all of it connects. That idea of balance? Not just between doshas like Vata Pitta Kapha, but also in how we think, live, even how we breathe. I mainly work with people who wanna heal without jumping straight into heavy meds. Like ya, if your condition allows it, I’ll def choose dinacharya tweaks or basic food corrections before writing up a full medicine plan. I’ve seen in many cases, your body can bounce back when you just give it the right rhythm again. I pay close attntion to small patterns — like when ppl say they’re just tired “all the time” or can’t digest food even though reports look fine. These tiny clues matter. I also make Ayurvedic content online—in Hinglish, btw—'cause honestly I feel ppl listen more when you talk their language. Nothing too textbooky. It's more like “let’s chat about your gut issues over kadha,” y'know? There’s way too much info out there, but not all of it makes sense to the average person. I like keeping it real, simple, and actually do-able. Whether you’re lookin’ to figure out why your skin’s always reacting, or how to manage stress without burning out, or just curious how to live more sattvic—I’ll be there. I’m not the kind to rush into pills n powders. But I also won’t sit back if deeper intervention’s needed. Each person’s body tells a diff story, and honestly I just wanna help you read yours better.

Dr. Keerthana PV
I am an Ayurvedic doctor who kinda grew into this path naturally—my roots are in Kerala, and I did my internship at VPSV Ayurveda College in Kottakkal, which honestly was one of the most eye-opening stages of my life. That place isn’t just a college, it’s a deep well of real Ayurveda. The kind that’s lived, not just studied. During my time there, I didn’t just observe—I *practiced*. Diagnosing, treating, understanding the patient beyond their symptoms, all that hands-on stuff that textbooks don’t really teach. It’s where I learned the rhythm of classical Kerala Ayurveda, the art of pulse reading, and how Panchakarma ain’t just about detox but more about deep repair. I work closely with patients—always felt more like a guide than just a doctor tbh. Whether it's about fixing a chronic issue or preventing one from happening, I focus on the full picture. I give a lot of attention to diet (pathya), routine, mental clutter, and stress stuff. Counseling on these isn’t an ‘extra’—I see it as a part of healing. And not the preachy kind either, more like what works *for you*, your lifestyle, your space. Also yeah—I’m a certified Smrithi Meditation Consultant from Kottakkal Ayurveda School of Excellence. This kinda allowed me to mix mindfulness with medicine, which I find super important, especially in today’s distracted world. I integrate meditation where needed—some patients need a virechana, some just need to breathe better before they sleep. There’s no one-size-fits-all and I kinda like that part of my job the most. I don’t claim to know it all, but I listen deeply, treat with care, and stay true to the Ayurvedic principles I was trained in. My role feels less about ‘curing’ and more about nudging people back to their natural balance... it’s not quick or flashy, but it feels right.

ChatGPT said: I am Dr. P. Prasad, and I’ve been in this field for 20+ years now, working kinda across the board—General Medicine, Neurology, Dermatology, Cardiology—you name it. Didn’t start out thinking I’d end up spanning that wide, but over time, each area sort of pulled me in deeper. And honestly, I like that mix. It lets me look at a patient not just through one lens but a whole system-wide view... makes more sense when treating something that won’t fit neatly in one category. I’ve handled everything from day-to-day stuff like hypertension, diabetes, or skin infections to more serious neuro and cardiac problems. Some cases are quick—diagnose, treat, done. Others take time, repeated check-ins, figuring out what’s really going on beneath those usual symptoms. And that’s where the detail matters. I’m pretty big on thorough diagnosis and patient education—because half the problem is ppl just not knowing what’s happening inside their own body. What’s changed for me over years isn’t just knowledge, it’s how much I lean on listening. If you miss what someone didn’t say, you might also miss their actual illness. And idk, after seeing it play out so many times, I do believe combining updated medical practice with basic empathy really shifts outcomes. Doesn’t have to be complicated... it just has to be consistent. I keep up with research too—new drugs, diagnostics, cross-specialty updates etc., not because it’s trendy, but cuz it’s necessary. Patients come in better read now than ever. You can’t afford to fall behind. The end goal’s the same tho—help them heal right, not just fast. Ethical practice, evidence-based, and sometimes just being there to explain what’s going on. That’s what I stick to.

Dr. Hemanshu Mehta
I am Dr. Hemanshu—right now a 2nd year MD scholar in Shalya Tantra, which basically means I’m training deep into the surgical side of Ayurveda. Not just cutting and stitching, btw, but the whole spectrum of para-surgical tools like Agnikarma, Viddhakarma, and Kshara Karma... these aren’t just traditional, they’re super precise when done right. I’m not saying I know everything yet (still learning every day honestly), but I do have solid exposure in handling chronic pain issues, muscle-joint disorders, and anorectal conditions like piles, fissures, fistulas—especially where modern treatments fall short or the patient’s tired of going through loops. During clinical rounds, I’ve seen how even simple Kshara application or well-timed Agnikarma can ease stuff like tennis elbow or planter fasciatis, fast. But more than the technique, I feel the key is figuring what matches the patient’s constitution n lifestyle... like one-size-never-fits-all here. I try to go beyond the complaint—looking into their ahar, sleep, stress levels, digestion, and just how they feel in general. That part gets missed often. I honestly believe healing isn’t just a “procedure done” kind of thing. I try not to rush—spend time on pre-procedure prep, post-care advice, what diet might help the tissue rebuild faster, whether they’re mentally up for it too. And no, I don’t ignore pathology reports either—modern diagnostic tools help me stay grounded while applying ancient methods. It’s not this vs that, it’s both, when needed. My aim, tbh, is to become the kind of Ayurvedic surgeon who doesn't just do the work but understands why that karma or technique is needed at that point in time. Every case teaches me something new, and that curiosity keeps me moving.

Dr. Maitri Bhavesh Kumar Acharya
ChatGPT said: I am Dr. Maitri, currently in my 2nd year of MD in Dravyaguna, and yeah, I run my own Ayurvedic clinic in Ranoli where I’ve been seeing patients for 2 years now. Honestly, what pulled me into this path deeper is how powerful herbs really are—when used right. Not just randomly mixing churnas but actually understanding their rasa, virya, vipaka etc. That’s kinda my zone, where textbook knowledge meets day-to-day case handling. My practice revolves around helping people with PCOD, acne, dandruff, back pain, stiffness in knees or joints that never seem to go away. And I don’t jump to giving a long list of medicines straight away—first I spend time figuring out their prakriti, their habits, food cycle, what triggers what… basically all the small stuff that gets missed. Then comes the plan—herbs (single or compound), some diet reshuffling, and always some lifestyle nudges. Sometimes they’re tiny, like sleep timing. Sometimes big like proper seasonal detox. Being into Dravyaguna helps me get into the depth of herbs more confidently. I don’t just look at the symptom—I think okay what guna will counter this? Should the drug be snigdha, ushna, tikta? Is there a reverse vipaka that’ll hurt the agni? I ask these questions before writing any combo. That’s made a huge diff in outcomes. Like I had this case of chronic urticaria that would flare up every week, and just tweaking the herbs based on sheetala vs ushna nature... helped calm the system in 3 weeks flat. Not magic, just logic. I also work with women who are struggling with hormonal swings, mood, delayed periods or even unexplained breakouts. When hormones go haywire, the skin shows, digestion slows, and mind gets foggy too. I keep my approach full-circle—cleansing, balancing, rejuvenating. No quick fixes, I tell them early on. What I’m hoping to do more of now is make Ayurveda feel practical. Not overwhelming. Just simple tools—ahara, vihara, aushadha—used consistently, with some trust in the body’s own healing. I’m still learning, still refining, but honestly, seeing people feel in control of their health again—that’s what keeps me rooted to this.

Dr. Surya Bhagwati
I am a Senior Ayurveda Physician with over 28 years of clinical experience dedicated to the principles and practice of authentic Ayurvedic medicine. Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of treating more than 100,000 patients through both in-person consultations and online platforms. My approach is deeply rooted in classical Ayurvedic diagnostics—such as Nadi Pariksha (pulse examination), Roga-Rogi Pariksha (patient and disease evaluation), and a personalized assessment of prakriti (body constitution). Over the years, I have successfully managed a wide range of health conditions across all age groups—from acute infections and digestive issues to chronic and lifestyle disorders such as arthritis, diabetes, respiratory ailments, hormonal imbalances, and autoimmune conditions. I place strong emphasis on individualized care, combining herbal formulations, Panchakarma detox therapies, and dietary and lifestyle guidance to ensure long-term healing and disease prevention. My extensive experience also includes addressing complex, chronic illnesses that require a deep understanding of both the pathology and the patient’s overall constitution. I have worked with patients who had previously struggled with little success in other systems of medicine, and have guided many toward sustainable recovery and improved quality of life. Whether treating elderly patients with degenerative disorders or young adults facing hormonal or metabolic challenges, I strive to offer care that is compassionate, comprehensive, and evidence-informed. My goal is to empower patients with Ayurvedic wisdom so they can take an active role in their healing journey. I continue to remain updated with the evolving landscape of integrative health and value the importance of patient education, ethical practice, and consistent follow-up. For me, Ayurveda is not just a profession, but a lifelong commitment to restoring balance and promoting well-being, one patient at a time.
