HELLO PREETI
In Ayurveda, kidney stones are known as “Ashmari”- this word means “formed like a stone” in the urinary system.
WHY STONES FORM -agnidushti (poor digestion and metabolism) -Ama(toxins) accumulation -Kapha vata imbalance -excess of minerals like calcium, uric acid or oxalates in urine -Drinking less water -suppressing urine urges -excess consumption of salty, sour, spicy, fried foods
These imbalances cause the crystallisation of minerals and block the urine channels(Mutravaha srotas), leading to stone formation
TREATMENT GOALS -break down and dissolve the stones(litholytic action) -flush out small stones through urine -prevent formation of new stones (anti-recurrence) -correct digestion and metabolism (balance agni) -detoxify urinary channels(srotosodhana)
INTERNAL MEDICATIONS

Cheel mujhse stone ke size aur vahan ke baare me jankaar lena zaroori hai. Zyada paani pine se bhi kidney par pressure padh sakta hai, toh saniye ayurvedic professional ka salah lena pratibadhat hai.
Apne daily routine me halki vyayam jaise yoga aur pramaayan ko shamil kariye—dono physical aur mental stress ko kamaa karte hain. Siddha-Ayurvedic perspective suggests addressing kidney stones by understanding your current dosha imbalance and lifestyle. Since you’ve already tried allopathy and homeopathy without complete relief, let’s look into some Ayurvedic suggestions which might be beneficial.
Firstly, increase your water intake to help flush out the stones, but ensure it’s warm water as it aids in better assimilation and is kinder on your digestive agni. Drinking varunadi kashayam or decoction can be quite supportive; it’s traditionally known to aid in breaking down kidney stones. Prepare this by boiling varun bark in water until it reduces; drink it twice a daily especially before meals.
Diet-wise, avoid foods high in oxalates like spinach, nuts, and chocolates, as they contribute to stone formation. Increase the intake of foods that are alkalizing such as cucumber, watermelon, and barley water. These might help in easing the pitta irritation which often leads to such stones.
You can also consider consuming coconut water regularly as it has a cooling effect on the body’s system and helps in balancing pitta aggravations. Additionally, herbal formulations like Pashanabheda tablet or powder could be useful—they are known for their lithotriptic properties which help dissolve stones. Make sure to follow the dosage guidelines specificied on the product or by a practitioner if possible.
If pain persists or if you experience severe discomfort, fever, or nausea, seek immediate medical attention. This can prevent potential complications. Always consider checking with a health professional for tailored advice because managing stones often requires an integrated approach.
