how to use patanjali herbal mehandi - #41457

Alexander

I am struggling with figuring out how to use Patanjali herbal mehandi, and it's driving me a little crazy! A few weeks ago, I decided to try it out for a family function because I've been hearing such great things about natural mehndi and its benefits. I thought it would be awesome, and honestly, I'm always worried about using chemical dyes on my skin. So, I bought a box of Patanjali herbal mehandi, but now I'm totally lost. The instructions seem a bit vague. I mixed it as suggested, but like, I didn’t let it sit long enough or something? My hands turned out kinda patchy and not as vibrant as I imagined. After 3 hours of application, the color was just weak. I hear people say that using lemon juice can help and then there’s that whole thing with sugar water? Like, how to use Patanjali herbal mehandi properly? Do I need to prep my skin before applying? I’m worried I might be missing some important steps! Am I supposed to leave it on really long or what? Also, how often can I use it without worrying about any skin reactions or how often do I need to reapply for good color? Any tips from you guys would be super appreciated! I really wanna get it right next time! Thanks!

Using Patanjali herbal mehandi correctly can sometimes be a bit tricky, especially if you’re aiming for that rich, deep color. To get started, it’s important to ensure that your skin is clean and dry before applying the mehandi. Any oils or lotions can create a barrier that might prevent the dye from adhering properly.

Start by mixing the mehandi powder with lukewarm water to form a smooth paste. Let this mixture sit for at least 2-3 hours. This resting period is crucial as it allows the dye to release properly, which wil give you that vibrant color you’re looking for. The acidity in lemon juice can help intensify the color, so feel free to squeeze a little into your mixture. Just be cautious not to add too much, as it cam make the paste too runny.

Applying sugar water after the mehandi has dried on your skin can help it last longer. To make this, dissolve some sugar in water and gently dab it onto the dried mehandi with a cotton ball. This step keeps the mehandi hydrated and can improve color saturation.

When applying mehandi, make sure to do so in a rather thin, even layer. Leaving the mehandi on for about 5-6 hours is ideal; you can even keep it overnight if comfortable. Once it’s dried, avoid using water to remove the mehandi - instead, scrape it off gently and apply some coconut or sesame oil to your hands. This helps in setting the dye and maximizing the color payoff.

It’s usually safe to reapply every 2-3 weeks if your skin hasn’t shown any reactions. Always do a patch test on a small area if you’re worried about sensitivity. Lastly, keeping your hands warm during and after the application time can also enhance the color, as warmth aids the dyeing process.

By following these steps with patience and care, you’ll likely find better success with Patanjali herbal mehandi.
