If your creatinine is normal then drink weekly twice instead daily In case of potassium with 4.9 it’s better to avoid for few days - especially avoid high potassium diet like fruit juices coconut water coconut It’s just border line it’s should be below 5.2 maintain the same way
Madam my creatinine level is 0.70 I’m safe or not madam
It’s absolutely normal But as for now potassium is borderline avoid for few days above said like fruit juices coconut water coconut and even banana once it settles again you can continue no worries
Is there any kidney issues with that potassium levels please clarify my doubt madam
With high potassium it’s not mandatory that you will get some kidney issues But as these are part of electrolytes we need to maintain properly , we should not allow either to increase or decrease Have to maintain above 3.5 and below 5 or 5.2( in some lab values ) which is the standard values As because of continoues intake of juice your potassium is slightly at borderline which is very common if we drink any fruit juices it’s going to increase so asking you to stop for few days so through which automatically it will come down so again you can restart But it’s not that concerning as you are worrying It is totally normal
If you’ve been consuming mosambi juice daily and have a history of kidney stones, it’s important to consider a few key points from an Ayurvedic perspective. Mosambi, or sweet lime, is generally considered beneficial in Ayurvedic medicine for balancing Pitta and Vata doshas. Its cooling and refreshing properties help support digestion and hydration. However, when it comes to kidney health, moderation is crucial, especially with your history of kidney stones and current kidney function.
Typically, mosambi juice is safe for most individuals and has hydrating effects that can help flush the system. However, due to its potassium content, it’s essential to monitor potassium levels if you have any renal concerns. Your recent test showing a potassium level of 4.9 is within the normal range, yet consistent high intake of potassium through diet, including mossambi juice, can pose risks for those with compromised kidney function, leading possibly to hyperkalemia.
For your condition, it would be wise to limit your intake to a few times per week instead of daily. Ensure you’re also balancing your diet with adequate water intake and foods that support kidney function, like fresh vegetables, particularly those that are low in oxalates which can contribute to stone formation. It’s also advisable to have regular follow-ups with a nephrologist to ensure kidney function stays stable.
For preparing the juice, avoid adding extra sugar, which can strain the kidneys, and drink it freshly squeezed rather than processed. Keep listening to your body, and if you notice any unusual signs, like changes in urination, consult a healthcare provider promptly. Remember too, that each individual’s constitution (prakriti) may require personalized dietary considerations, so working with a knowledgeable Ayurvedic practitioner can tailor advice to your specific needs.
