Your symptoms suggest that there may be a Vata imbalance, particularly affecting the pitta and kapha at the site of the neck and shoulder region. Establishing balance can help alleviate discomfort. Begin by addressing diet; incorporate warm, nourishing foods that are easy to digest. Soups, stews, and cooked vegetables like carrots and spinach can be helpful. Avoid cold and raw foods that can aggravate Vata.

For menopausal discomfort and muscle weakness, consider adding cumin, fennel, and fenugreek to meals. They can assist in building muscle strength and aid digestion. Moringa (drumstick) leaves can also provide protein and are quite beneficial for bone health.

In terms of lifestyle, establish a daily routine that includes light massage (abhyanga) with warm sesame oil, focusing on the neck and shoulder. This can be followed by gentle stretching exercises tailored for your condition. It’s crucial to perform these exercises under the guidance of a physiotherapist or a qualified ayurvedic practitioner to ensure they’re done safely and effectively.

Pranayama, particularly nadi shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) can stabilize the mind, and reduce stress—important components when managing pain. Practice daily but focus on ease and gentle practice rather than intensity.

Herbs like ashwagandha and guggul are known for supporting joint and muscle health. However, due to the complications of diabetes and menopause, it would be wise to consult an Ayurveda practitioner for personalized herbal combinations.

Lastly, maintain blood sugar levels by regular monitoring and adjust any lifestyle change according to how your body responds. Personalized attention from a healthcare professional is ideal especially when dealing with compounded issues. Pain persistence or worsening conditions necessitated immediate medical attention to rule out underlying serious conditions.
