I am feeling really overwhelmed lately with my digestion, and I think it’s because I have a lot of pitta. I’ve always had this super fiery personality, which I guess is part of it, but after eating some spicy food and dealing with stress from work, everything just spiraled. My stomach is constantly upset, and I feel way too heated, like I could explode. I even got some tests done, and the doctor said my pitta seems elevated. A friend suggested I look into how to reduce pitta naturally, but I'm totally lost on where to start. I read somewhere that mint tea and cooling foods might help, but like, do I just stop eating all my favorite spicy dishes?? I LOVE them! Also, what about yoga?? Are there particular poses or practices that can bring down this fiery energy? I’m kinda worried that if I don’t figure out how to reduce pitta naturally, I’ll just end up with worse digestion issues or more stress. Do any of you have experiences or tips? Anything would be helpful!! Plus, is there a specific diet plan or something that could work? Just feeling a bit scatterbrained right now — thanks in advance for any advice!
