Your symptoms, relating to feeling fullness, slow digestion, and incomplete bowel movements, could be linked to an imbalance in your digestive fire, or agni, as well as potential Kapha and Vata dosha disturbances. In Ayurveda, proper digestion is crucial for maintaining health, as it influences our overall well-being.

First, try to strengthen your agni. You might consider starting your meals with a piece of fresh ginger with a pinch of salt to stimulate digestive enzymes and aid in breaking down food. Make sure your meals are warm and cooked – avoiding cold, raw, or overly processed foods, which can exacerbate Kapha and dampen the digestive fire.

Additionally, consuming a glass of warm water with half lemon juice first thing in the morning could help facilitate bowel movements and cleanse the system. Avoid cold beverages with meals, as they can hinder digestion. Instead, sip on warm water or herbal teas like fennel or ginger tea throughout the day, which can mitigate bloating and gas.

Since you’re a BP patient on medication, it’s essential to consider the compatibility of Ayurvedic suggestions with your medications. A pinch of trikatu churna taken with honey before meals can enhance digestion, but check with your healthcare provider regarding potential interactions.

Incorporate regular physical activity, appropriate to your condition, such as a daily walk or some gentle yoga to invigorate your digestive system and maintain dosha balance. The practice of Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) can be beneficial if feasible.

For bowel regularity, consider including fibrous foods like whole grains, leafy greens, and fruits, which aid in bowel movements. Ensure that you are not consuming these excessively, though, as too much fiber can sometimes be as problematic as too little.

Last, but crucial, is to manage stress levels. Practices like deep breathing exercises or meditation can calm the mind and benefit digestive health indirectly by reducing stress-related disturbances to Vata dosha.

Consulting an Ayurvedic physician specialized in tailoring these suggestions to your particular constitution would be an ideal step, considering your ongoing medications. If symptoms like heartburn, headaches, or fatigue continue severe or worsen, seek medical attention promptly to rule out any serious conditions.

The fullness and digestive issues you’re experiencing could be indicative of an imbalance in the Vata and Pitta doshas, quite common for individuals on blood pressure medication affecting the digestive fire, or agni. Addressing these imbalances can help alleviate your symptoms. Start by maintaining a regular meal schedule to stabilize your digestive rhythm. Avoid heavy, greasy, or overly spicy foods, as they may further aggravate these symptoms.

Incorporate warm, light, yet nourishing foods into your meals; moong dal soup or rice kanji can be beneficial. Try sipping warm water throughout the day and add a small slice of fresh ginger with a pinch of rock salt before meals to kindle your agni.

For bowel movements, consider Triphala churna before bedtime - about half a teaspoon with warm water. It aids in proper bowel evacuation and alleviating gas accumulation, facilitating a smoother digestive process. Ensure that your evening meal is light and consumed at least two hours before sleeping to support digestion.

Grounding practices such as a brief walk post meals and light yoga asanas, such as Pavanamuktasana, can stimulate digestion and reduce bloating. If headaches and heartburn persist, avoid late-night eating and ensure adequate sleep to balance Pitta.

Since you’re taking medications, consult your healthcare provider before adding any new supplements or significantly altering your diet, especially if symptoms worsen. It’s vital to rule out any underlying causes that might require immediate attention.
