Experiencing frequent nightfall and feeling weak can certainly be troubling, especially at the age of 18. Based on Ayurvedic principles, these symptoms often relate to imbalances in the Vata dosha and depletion of ojas, the vital essence that supports your overall strength and vitality. To address these concerns, focus on nurturing and replenishing your body and mind.

Firstly, consider diet changes to nourish your system. Favor warm, grounding, and nourishing foods like whole grains (such as rice and oats), cooked vegetables, nuts, and seeds. Adding ghee or clarified butter to meals can be beneficial. It’s advisable to avoid stimulants like caffeine, excessive sugar, and processed foods which may aggravate your condition.

Incorporate herbs known for their rejuvenating properties. Ashwagandha and Shatavari are both excellent choices; they help balance Vata and strengthen your system. You may take Ashwagandha in the form of powder or capsules, generally 500 mg in the morning and evening, with warm milk or water. Shatavari can be taken the same way, but preferably before meals. Consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner for appropriate dosage.

Regular sleep and routine are crucial. Create a consistent sleep schedule, aiming for 7-9 hours nightly. Before bed, try a relaxing routine which may include gentle yoga or breathing exercises. An Ayurvedic massage using warm sesame oil could also help calm the mind and body.

Meditation and mindfulness can play an important role in stabilizing the restless mind, practice daily even if it’s just 5-10 minutes. Your mental health is as crucial as physical wellbeing, so nurturing a positive mindset can help.

It’s vital to change the habits from the past like excessive masturbation, as it can deplete vital energies. Consider moderating and redirecting those habits towards healthier outlets like sports or creative activities.

If you think your symptoms are greatly impacting your daily life, consider consulting a healthcare professional to explore these issues further.

Frequent nightfall and persistent weakness may indicate an imbalance in the vata dosha. It’s important to address these symptoms by balancing your doshas, strengthening your dhatus (tissues), and pacifying the mind. First, consider adopting calming practices like Pranayama or meditation daily. These will help stabilize your mind and nervous system.

In terms of dietary changes, include foods that are grounding and nourishing. Consume more ghee, milk, oats, and almonds. For strengthening your tissues, start incorporating ashwagandha powder into your diet—about 1 teaspoon mixed with warm milk before bed can be beneficial. It’s known to rejuvenate the body and calm the mind.

It may also be helpful to make simple lifestyle adjustments. Try to maintain a regular sleep schedule, reducing screen time before going to bed to ensure restful sleep. Practicing winding down rituals like light reading can signal to your body it’s time to sleep.

Additionally, the herb Shatavari, traditionally used in both Ayurveda and Siddha systems, can support a healthy reproductive system and balance hormones. You can take it in tincture or capsule form—follow the recommended dosage on the product.

Remember, overcoming such issues can take time and patience, and it’s crucial not to be overly harsh on oneself. However, if symptoms persist or worsen, consulting a healthcare professional is advisable to rule out any underlying medical conditions. Try gentle yoga, stabilize emotional wellbeing by managing stressors wherever possible, and avoid stimulating activities late in the day.
