Premature greying is generally considered to occur if hair begins turning grey before the age of 20 in Caucasians, before 25 in Asians, and before 30 in African-Americans. While reversing grey hair through Ayurveda isn’t guaranteed, it can often be slowed down or managed naturally.

Changing white hair back to black at the roots is a complex process that requires a multifaceted approach. The primary focus of Ayurveda is to address the root causes, which might be related to dosha imbalances, poor nutrition, stress, or lifestyle issues. By aligning these factors, it may be possible to promote healthier hair growth.

1. Dietary Adjustments: Ayurveda stresses the importance of a balanced diet. Including more iron-rich foods like spinach, amla (Indian gooseberry), and black sesame seeds can be beneficial. Amla is especially praised for its hair benefits; consuming amla juice or its powder mixed with honey each morning is recommended.
