I routinely incorporate classical Ayurvedic therapeutic techniques like Kriya Kalpas, Nasya, Tarpana, Aschyotana, Karna Purana, Gandusha, Pratisarana, and Dhoomapana, along with internal Rasayana and Shamana therapies, ensuring treatments are both effective and tailored to each patient’s prakriti and condition. Beyond my specialization, I bring over two years of clinical experience managing multi-systemic disorders. My approach blends classical Ayurvedic principles with a sound understanding of modern diagnostics and pathology, allowing me to handle cases related to metabolic disorders (such as diabetes, hypothyroidism, and PCOS), musculoskeletal issues (like arthritis and back pain), gastrointestinal disorders, skin conditions, and women’s health concerns, including infertility and hormonal imbalance. Hello, You are experiencing non-painful keloids that have appeared again in a nearby area above the previous one, with occasional changes in size/appearance. You have some allergies and have already tried alternative therapies. Keloids are a result of excessive scar tissue formation after skin injury (sometimes even minor or unnoticed). They are benign (non-cancerous) but can increase in number or size over time due to skin sensitivity, inflammation, or repeated irritation.

Important clarification (realistic expectation) ✔️ Herbs and Ayurvedic treatment can help: * Prevent further growth * Reduce hardness, itching, and discoloration * Soften the keloid gradually * Improve skin healing tendency

❌ Complete disappearance of old, large keloids is uncommon without procedures (like injections or laser), but early or spreading keloids respond better to conservative treatment.

🔎 Recommended Investigations (If not done recently) 1. Clinical dermatological evaluation – to confirm keloid vs hypertrophic scar 2. History of skin trauma / acne / surgery at the site 3. Allergy profile (if flare-ups or itching occur frequently) 4. Blood sugar (if healing is slow)

💊 Internal Medicines Phase 1 – 30 days (Inflammation control + abnormal scar regulation + allergy support) 1. Gandhak Rasayan – 1 tablet twice daily after meals 2. Mahamanjishthadi Kashayam – 15 ml + 45 ml warm water, twice daily before food 3. Guduchi (Giloy) Satva / Tablet – 500 mg twice daily 4. Avipattikar Churna – ½ tsp at bedtime with warm water

Phase 2 – 60 days (Scar softening + recurrence prevention) 1. Kanchanar Guggulu – 2 tablets twice daily after meals 2. Khadirarishta – 15 ml with equal water, twice daily after meals 3. Amalaki Rasayan – 1 tsp once daily

🌿 External & Local Treatment 1. Daily local application (night) Karanja Taila + Castor oil (1:1) Apply gently over keloid, do not massage hard 2. Aloe vera gel (morning) Thin layer, once daily 3. Avoid friction & pressure No tight clothing, straps, or repeated rubbing on the area 4. Do NOT scratch or massage aggressively

🥗 Diet & Lifestyle Recommendations ❌ Avoid 1. Excess sugar and sweets 2. Fried and junk foods 3. Very spicy foods 4. Repeated irritation or trauma to skin 5. Self-treating with harsh creams or chemicals ✅ Include 1. Fresh home-cooked food 2. Green leafy vegetables 3. Adequate protein (dal, eggs, legumes) 4. 1 tsp cow ghee daily 5. Plenty of water (room temperature)

🧘🏻‍♀️ Supportive Care 1. Stress reduction Meditation or slow breathing 5–10 minutes daily (Stress worsens abnormal scar formation) 2. Sleep hygiene Regular sleep cycle improves skin repair

* Itching or sensitivity (if present) reduces in 2–3 weeks * Hardness and tightness reduce gradually in 6–8 weeks * New keloid formation can be prevented with consistency * Old keloids may shrink slightly and soften, not disappear completely

✨ Yes, herbs can help control and improve keloids, especially to stop spread and recurrence, but patience and regular care are essential.

With kind regards, Dr. Sumi MS (Ayu)

Keloids can be managed with Ayurveda, but old and large keloids usually do not disappear completely further growth can be controlled, hardness and redness can be reduced, and the formation of new keloids can be prevented. This condition develops due to chronic internal inflammation and an abnormal healing response of the skin, so only external treatment is not sufficient.

KAISHORE GUGGULU – 2 TABLETS TWICE DAILY AFTER MEALS GANDHAK RASAYAN – 1 TABLET TWICE DAILY MANJISHTHA CAPSULE – 1 CAPSULE TWICE DAILY

APPLY JATYADI OINTMENT OVER THE KELOID TWICE DAILY. DO NOT RUB OR MASSAGE THE AREA.

AVOID TOUCHING, SCRATCHING, MASSAGING, OR APPLYING PRESSURE ON THE KELOID. WEAR LOOSE CLOTHING TO PREVENT FRICTION, ESPECIALLY OVER THE CHEST

AVOID SPICY AND FRIED FOODS, BAKERY ITEMS, CHOCOLATES, PACKAGED FOODS, SMOKING, AND ALCOHOL. DRINK PLENTY OF FLUIDS AND ADEQUATE SLEEP.

Hello Thank‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ you for such a clear explanation of your problem. I understand your concern -continued growth of keloids for several years can be very distressing, particularly when new ones keep appearing.

I will answer you in the same manner -honestly and openly- so that you know what is realistically possible.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR CONDITION

You are suffering from: A keloid on the chest ~15 years of the presence Growth from 3 cm to 12 cm New keloids appearing on the top of the old ones No pain, but growth is progressive Allergies history (very important)

In other words

It’s a true keloid, not just a scar The keloids on the chest grow genetically and hormonally Once keloids are old and big, they don’t go back to normal on their own

VERY IMPORTANT TRUTH

👉 Herbs alone are powerless to remove or cure large, old keloids 👉 No cream, oil, or herbal paste can melt a 12 cm keloid

Nevertheless:

The growth can be kept under control New keloids can be stopped Size, thickness, itching, and color can be improved The most excellent results are from the combination of medical treatment and supportive natural care

WHAT ACTUALLY WORKS FOR LONG-STANDING KELOIDS

Medical Treatments (MOST EFFECTIVE)

You may need to see a dermatologist or plastic surgeon for one or more of the following:

✔ Intralesional steroid injections (very significant) Directly into the keloid are the injections Reduces the keloid and stops the growth Given every 3–6 weeks It’s the first-line treatment all over the world

✔ Silicone gel or silicone sheets Long storage of these is very safe Used to flatten and soften scars Relieves recurrence

✔ Cryotherapy (freezing) Helpful to small or new keloids Injections sometimes combined

✔ Laser therapy

Helps with redness and thickness Usually combined with other treatments Just surgery is NOT advised, because: Keloids often return bigger than before

The operation should always be followed by injections or radiation

HERBS & NATURAL METHODS (SUPPORTIVE ONLY) Herbs are not able to eliminate keloids, but they can:

👉What they CAN help with Reduce inflammation Reduce itching or tightness Support skin healing Prevent worsening

❌ Avoid:

Frustrating and violent massage Onion juice, garlic, acids Unknown herbal pastes (can worsen keloids) Repeated trauma or scratching

WHY NEW KLOIDS ARE APPEARING

This is due to:

Genetic predisposition Long-term inflammation Tension of the chest skin Allergic reaction of the skin Effect of hormones

That is the reason why it is so important to treat the new keloids at the very beginning time.

WHAT I STRONGLY SUGGEST – Herbs should not be relied on solely – See a dermatologist for steroid injection – Make regular use of the silicone gel/sheet – Stay away from the things that may cause

such as scratching, picking, tight clothes, and traumas of the area – Allergies should be treated

EXPECTED (REALISTIC) OUTCOME

Old keloid of 12 cm → can not disappear completely

However:

The thickness can be reduced by 50–70% Growth can be stopped New keloids can be prevented The look of the skin can be greatly improved – Your situation can be treated but not cured by herbs alone – Worsening can be prevented by early medical intervention – Combination therapy is the best way of long-term control

Best wishes, Dr Snehal ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌Vidhate

🌿 Can herbs treat keloids? - Herbs and oils can soothe symptoms (like itching, redness, or dryness) and may soften the skin, but they usually cannot completely remove keloids. - Common natural options: - Castor oil: gentle massage daily to soften tissue. - Coconut oil with turmeric: anti‑inflammatory, reduces irritation. - Aloe vera gel: calms itching and hydrates. - Raw honey: applied as a thin layer, helps moisturize and reduce thickness.

🧾 Other non‑surgical options - Corticosteroid injections: can shrink keloids (done by a doctor). - Laser or cryotherapy (freezing): reduces size and redness. - Silicone gel sheets or ointments: applied daily to flatten and soften keloids

Dr. Gursimran Jeet Singh
I am Dr. Gursimran Jeet Singh, born and raised in Punjab where culture and traditions almost naturally guided me toward Ayurveda. From very early days I felt more drawn to natural ways of healing, and this curiosity finally led me to pursue Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) at Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College, Chandigarh—an institution known for shaping strong Ayurvedic physicians. During those years I learned not only the classical texts and treatment methods, but also how to look at health through a very practical, human lense. For the past five years I worked in clinical practice, where patients come with wide range of concerns—from chronic digestion troubles to autoimmune illness—and I try to integrate both Ayurveda and modern medical knowledge to give them the most complete care I can. Sometimes western diagnostics help me to understand the stage of disease, while Ayurveda helps me design treatment that address root cause. This bridging approach is not always easy, but I believe it’s necessary for today’s health challanges. Currently I am also pursuing higher studies in Panchakarma therapy. Panchakarma is an area I feel very strongly about—it is not just detox, it is a whole system of cleansing, rejuvenation, rebalancing, and I want to deepen my expertise here. In practice, I combine Panchakarma with lifestyle guidance, diet planning, herbal remedies, yoga and mindfulness practices depending on what a patient actually needs at that moment. No two cases are same, and Ayurveda reminds me daily that healing must be personal. My approach is always focused on root-cause management rather than temporary relief. Diet, herbs, therapeutic oils, meditation routines, and simple daily habits—they all work together when chosen rightly. Sometimes results come slow, sometimes faster, but I try to keep care sustainable and compassionate. Helping someone regain energy, sleep better, or reduce pain, that is the real achievement in my journey. And I continue learning, because Ayurveda is deep, it doesn’t finish with one degree or one training, it grow with every patient and every experiance. My specialties lie in treating a range of chronic and lifestyle-related conditions using Ayurveda’s time-tested principles, tailored to each individual’s unique constitution (Prakriti). I have significant expertise in managing digestive disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), acid reflux, constipation, diabetes, obesity and inflammatory bowel diseases. I also specialize in addressing stress-related and mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, insomnia, and burnout, which are increasingly common in today’s fast-paced world. By integrating therapies like Shirodhara (oil pouring on the forehead) to calm the nervous system, Abhyanga (herbal oil massages) to balance Vata dosha, and adaptogenic herbs like Ashwagandha and Brahmi, I help patients achieve mental clarity and emotional resilience. In the field of musculoskeletal and joint health, I excel in treating conditions like arthritis (rheumatoid and osteoarthritis), back pain, sciatica, and sports injuries. Using therapies such as Kati Basti (localized oil retention on the lower back) and potent anti-inflammatory herbs like Guggulu and Shallaki, I focus on reducing inflammation, improving joint mobility, and strengthening tissues. My treatments have helped many patients, particularly those seeking non-invasive alternatives, regain mobility and reduce pain through a blend of internal medications and external therapies. Skin disorders are another key area of my practice, where I address conditions like eczema, psoriasis, acne, and pigmentation issues holistically. By focusing on blood purification and balancing Pitta dosha and detoxifying Panchakarma techniques like Raktamokshana (bloodletting). My approach targets dietary and lifestyle triggers, offering sustainable results for clients who previously relied on temporary solutions like topical steroids. My dual expertise in Ayurveda and modern medicine allows me to create integrative treatment plans that are both effective and safe. I am deeply committed to patient education, empowering individuals to embrace Ayurvedic principles for sustainable health. Through this online platform, I am excited to offer virtual consultations, making the profound benefits of Ayurveda accessible to all. Whether you seek relief from a specific condition or aim to enhance overall vitality, I look forward to guiding you on your journey to balance and well-being with compassion and expertise.

I am someone who believes Ayurveda isn’t just some old system — it’s alive, and actually still works when you use it the way it's meant to be used. My practice mostly revolves around proper Ayurvedic diagnosis (rogi & roga pariksha types), Panchakarma therapies, and ya also a lot of work with herbal medicine — not just prescribing but sometimes preparing stuff myself when needed. I really like that hands-on part actually, like knowing where the herbs came from and how they're processed... changes everything. One of the things I pay a lot of attention to is how a person's lifestyle is playing into their condition. Food, sleep, bowel habits, even small emotional patterns that people don't even realize are affecting their digestion or immunity — I look at all of it before jumping to treatment. Dietary therapy isn’t just telling people to eat less fried food lol. It’s more about timing, combinations, seasonal influence, and what suits their prakriti. That kind of detail takes time, and sometimes patients don’t get why it matters at first.. but slowly it clicks. Panchakarma — I do it when I feel it's needed. Doesn’t suit everyone all the time, but in the right case, it really clears the stuck layers. But again, it's not magic — people need to prep properly and follow instructions. That's where strong communication matters. I make it a point to explain everything without dumping too much Sanskrit unless they’re curious. I also try to keep things simple, like I don’t want patients feeling intimidated or overwhelmed with 10 things at once. We go step by step — sometimes slow, sometimes quick depending on the case. There’s no “one protocol fits all” in Ayurveda and frankly I get bored doing same thing again and again. Whether it’s a fever that won’t go or long-term fatigue or gut mess — I usually go deep into what's behind it. Surface-level fixes don’t last. I rather take the time than rush into wrong herbs. It’s more work, ya, but makes a diff in long run.

Dr. Snehal Vidhate
I am Dr. Snehal Vidhate, born n brought up in Maharashtra—and honestly, for as long as I remember I’ve felt this pull towards Ayurveda. Not the fancy version ppl throw around, but the deep, real kind that actually helps ppl. I did my BAMS from YMT Ayurvedic Medical College in Kharghar. That’s where I got my basics strong—like really studied the shastras, understood prakriti, doshas, the whole deal. Not just crammed theory but started to see how it shows up in real lives. After finishing BAMS, I got into this one-year certificate course at Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth, Delhi—honestly a turning point. I was super lucky to learn Kerala Ayurveda from my Guru, Prof. Dr. G.G. Gangadharan. He’s got this way of seeing things... simple but deep. That time with him taught me more than any textbook ever could. It kinda reshaped how I look at health, healing n how precise Ayurveda can be when you respect its roots. Right now I’m doing my MD in Panchakarma from SDM Ayurveda College, Bangalore. This place is like a hub for serious Ayurveda work. The Panchakarma training here? Super intense. We go deep into detoxification & rasayana therapy—not just theory again, but hands-on. I’m learning to blend classical techniques with today’s clinical demands.. like how to make Vamana or Basti actually doable in modern patient setups. My current practice is really about merging tradition with logic. Whether it’s chronic skin issues, gut problems, stress burnout or hormone stuff—my goal is to get to the root, not just hush the symptoms. I use Panchakarma when needed, but also a lot of ahara-vihara tweaks, medhya herbs, sometimes just slowing ppl down a bit helps. I really believe Ayurveda’s power is in its simplicity when done right. I don’t try to fix ppl—I work *with* them. And honestly, every patient teaches me something back.

Dr. Narendrakumar V Mishra
I am a Consulting Ayurvedic Physician practicing since 1990—feels strange saying “over three decades” sometimes, but yeah, that’s the journey. I’ve spent these years working closely with chronic conditions that don’t always have clear answers in quick fixes. My main work has been around skin disorders, hair fall, scalp issues, and long-standing lifestyle stuff like diabetes, arthritis, and stress that kinda lingers under everything else. When someone walks into my clinic, I don’t jump to treat the problem on the surface. I start by understanding their *prakriti* and *vikriti*—what they’re made of, and what’s currently out of sync. That lets me build treatment plans that actually *fit* their system—not just push a medicine and hope it works. I use a mix of classical formulations, panchakarma if needed, dietary corrections, and slow, practical lifestyle changes. No overnight miracle talk. Just steady support. Hair fall and skin issues often feel cosmetic from outside—but internally? It’s about digestion, stress, liver, hormones... I’ve seen patients try 10+ things before landing in front of me. And sometimes they just need someone to *listen* before throwing herbs at the problem. That’s something I never skip. With arthritis and diabetes too, I take the same root-cause path. I give Ayurvedic medicines, but also work with *dinacharya*, *ahar* rules, and ways to reduce the load modern life puts on the body. We discuss sleep, food timing, mental state, all of it. I’ve also worked a lot with people dealing with high stress—career burnout, anxiety patterns, overthinking—and my approach there includes Ayurvedic counseling, herbal mind support, breathing routines... depends what suits them. My foundation is built on classical *samhitas*, clinical observation, and actual time with patients—not theories alone. My goal has always been simple: to help people feel well—not just for a few weeks, but in a way that actually lasts. Healing that feels like *them*, not just protocol. That’s what I keep aiming for.

Dr. Ravi Chandra Rushi
I am working right now as a Consultant Ayurvedic Ano-Rectal Surgeon at Bhrigu Maharishi Ayurvedic Hospital in Nalgonda—and yeah, that name’s quite something, but what really keeps me here is the kind of cases we get. My main focus is managing ano-rectal disorders like piles (Arsha), fistula-in-ano (Bhagandara), fissure-in-ano (Parikartika), pilonidal sinus, and rectal polyps. These are often more complex than they look at first, and they get misdiagnosed or overtreated in a lotta places. That’s where our classical tools come in—Ksharasutra therapy, Agnikarma, and a few other para-surgical techniques we follow from the Samhitas...they’ve been lifesavers honestly. My work here pushes me to keep refining surgical precision while also sticking to the Ayurvedic core. I do rely on modern diagnostics when needed, but I won’t replace the value of a well-done Nadi Pariksha or assessing dosha-vikruti in depth. Most of my patients come with pain, fear, and usually after a couple of rounds of either incomplete surgeries or just being fed painkillers n antibiotics. And I totally get that frustration. That’s why I combine surgery with a whole support plan—Ayurvedic meds, diet changes, lifestyle tweaks that actually match their prakriti. Not generic stuff off a handout. Over time, I’ve seen that when people follow the whole protocol, not just the procedure part, the recurrence drops a lot. I’m quite particular about follow-up and wound care too, ‘cause we’re dealing with delicate areas here and ignoring post-op can ruin outcomes. Oh and yeah—I care a lot about educating folks too. I talk to patients in OPD, sometimes give community talks, just to tell people they do have safer options than cutting everything out under GA! I still study Shalya Tantra like it’s a living document. I try to stay updated with whatever credible advancements are happening in Ayurvedic surgery, but I filter what’s fluff and what’s actually useful. At the end of the day, my aim is to offer respectful, outcome-based care that lets patients walk out without shame or fear. That’s really what keeps me grounded in this field.

Dr. Prasad Pentakota
I am Dr. P. Prasad, and I’ve been in this field for 20+ years now, working kinda across the board—General Medicine, Neurology, Dermatology, Cardiology—you name it. Didn’t start out thinking I’d end up spanning that wide, but over time, each area sort of pulled me in deeper. And honestly, I like that mix. It lets me look at a patient not just through one lens but a whole system-wide view... makes more sense when treating something that won’t fit neatly in one category. I’ve handled everything from day-to-day stuff like hypertension, diabetes, or skin infections to more serious neuro and cardiac problems. Some cases are quick—diagnose, treat, done. Others take time, repeated check-ins, figuring out what’s really going on beneath those usual symptoms. And that’s where the detail matters. I’m pretty big on thorough diagnosis and patient education—because half the problem is ppl just not knowing what’s happening inside their own body. What’s changed for me over years isn’t just knowledge, it’s how much I lean on listening. If you miss what someone didn’t say, you might also miss their actual illness. And idk, after seeing it play out so many times, I do believe combining updated medical practice with basic empathy really shifts outcomes. Doesn’t have to be complicated... it just has to be consistent. I keep up with research too—new drugs, diagnostics, cross-specialty updates etc., not because it’s trendy, but cuz it’s necessary. Patients come in better read now than ever. You can’t afford to fall behind. The end goal’s the same tho—help them heal right, not just fast. Ethical practice, evidence-based, and sometimes just being there to explain what’s going on. That’s what I stick to.

Dr. Sumit Tasgaonkar
I am Dr. Sumit S. Tasgaonkar — a BAMS doc who also went on to complete MS in Ayurveda surgery, along with CGO and PGDEMS. Kinda feels like I’m always learning. And maybe that’s what keeps me grounded — balancing classical Ayurvedic wisdom with real-time medical emergencies or even modern diagnostic tools. I don’t see these systems as opposites... for me, they compliment each other when you look closely enough. My work mostly revolves around chronic diseases, metabolic issues, lifestyle mess (and there’s plenty of it these days), and women’s health conditions — PCOS, hormonal imbalance, gynec stuff that needs long-term attention. I use Panchakarma, herbal meds, diet correction, sometimes just shifting someone’s daily habits does more than we expect. But it’s never one-size-fits-all. I take a lot of time getting to the root cause — dosha imbalance, agni disturbance, whatever is underneath the visible stuff. Patients dealing with arthritis, stress, skin flareups, digestion trouble — I’ve seen all of that and more. And every case teaches something new. I’m super keen on tracking progress too. Like we keep tweaking, adjusting as per prakriti and vikriti, not just protocol-for-all. And honestly, the most satisfying part? when patients tell me they feel like themselves again. I started Tasgaonkar Medical Foundation with a big dream of bringing authentic Ayurveda to more people, esp. rural areas where choices are limited. We still keep prices fair and try not to compromise on classical principles. Accessibility doesn’t mean diluting the science — that’s always been important to me. What I really want is to see more people actually understand their health. Not just pop pills or mask symptoms. I wanna give them the tools — through knowledge, through food, through breath — to live lighter and healthier. And ya, sometimes it’s messy, sometimes you doubt, sometimes you adjust everything mid-plan... but that's Ayurveda too. Listening, observing, and flowing with the body, not against it.

Dr. Anjali Sehrawat
I am Dr. Anjali Sehrawat. Graduated BAMS from National College of Ayurveda & Hospital, Barwala (Hisar) in 2023—and right now I'm doing my residency, learning a lot everyday under senior clinicians who’ve been in the field way longer than me. It’s kind of intense but also really grounding. Like, it makes you pause before assuming anything about a patient. During my UG and clinical rotations, I got good hands-on exposure... not just in diagnosing through Ayurvedic nidan but also understanding where and when Allopathic tools (like lab reports or acute interventions) help fill the gap. I really believe that if you *actually* want to heal someone, you gotta see the whole picture—Ayurveda gives you that depth, but you also need to know when modern input is useful, right? I’m more interested in chronic & lifestyle disorders—stuff like metabolic imbalances, stress-linked issues, digestive problems that linger and slowly pull energy down. I don’t rush into giving churnas or kashayams just bcz the texts say so... I try to see what fits the patient’s prakriti, daily habits, emotional pattern etc. It’s not textbook-perfect every time, but that’s where the real skill grows I guess. I do a lot of thinking abt cause vs symptom—sometimes it's not the problem you see that actually needs solving first. What I care about most is making sure the treatment is safe, ethical, practical, and honest. No overpromising, no pushing meds that don’t fit. And I’m always reading or discussing sth—old Samhitas or recent journals, depends what the case demands. My goal really is to build a practice where people feel seen & understood, not just “managed.” That's where healing actually begins, right?

Dr. Shilpa Shijil
I am still learning how to describe myself without sounding too stiff, but I do feel that my personal and inter-personal skills shape a big part of how I work. I try to stay approachable and not make pts feel rushed, even on days when time is slipping fast. I listen first, maybe longer than needed sometimes, just to catch the small hints in their words or their silence. I end up absorbing a bit of their pain or worry too, and then I remind myself to stay focused so I can actually help them, not just feel it. I am seeing people as whole beings, not just their symptoms or test values, and that keeps my treatment more grounded. I explain things in simple ways, though I get tangled in my phrasing here and there, but I make sure they and their family know what we’re doing and why. I try to stay honest even when the truth is slow progess or a rough patch in the condition. I am pretty dedicated to ethical practice, sometimes to the point where I double-check a simple step, and I don’t mind spending extra time if it means the plan is right. I push myself to keep learning, reading, attending discussions, all without getting scared of criticism, though a harsh comment stings me for a bit. I enjoy public interaction too—talking to groups, answering doubts, explaining Ayurveda without overcomplicating it. I am still shaping these skills every day, but they guide me in giving care that feels human, steady and trustworthy, even on the messy days when I am juggling too many things at once.

Dr. M.Sushma
I am Dr. Sushma M and yeah, I’ve been in Ayurveda for over 20 yrs now—honestly still learning from it every day. I mostly work with preventive care, diet logic, and prakriti-based guidance. I mean, why wait for full-blown disease when your body’s been whispering for years, right? I’m kinda obsessed with that early correction part—spotting vata-pitta-kapha imbalances before they spiral into something deeper. Most ppl don’t realize how much power food timing, digestion rhythm, & basic routine actually have… until they shift it. Alongside all that classical Ayurveda, I also use energy medicine & color therapy—those subtle layers matter too, esp when someone’s dealing with long-term fatigue or emotional heaviness. These things help reconnect not just the body, but the inner self too. Some ppl are skeptical at first—but when you treat *beyond* the doshas, they feel it. And I don’t force anything… I just kinda match what fits their nature. I usually take time understanding a person’s prakriti—not just from pulse or skin or tongue—but how they react to stress, sleep patterns, their relationship with food. That whole package tells the story. I don’t do textbook treatment lines—I build a plan that adjusts *with* the person, not on top of them. Over the years, watching patients slowly return to their baseline harmony—that's what keeps me in it. I’ve seen folks come in feeling lost in symptoms no one explained… and then walk out weeks later understanding their body better than they ever did. That, to me, is healing. Not chasing symptoms, but restoring rhythm. I believe true care doesn’t look rushed, or mechanical. It listens, observes, tweaks gently. That's the kind of Ayurveda I try to practice—not loud, but deeply rooted.

Dr. Janvi Dhera
I am a doctor who completed CCH and CGO from Wadia hospital, and that training gave me exposure not just in theory but also in handling patients with very diverse needs. Over time I have treated many cases of chronic skin conditions, gut related disorders and also anorectal issues like piles, fissure and similar complaints. Each case felt different, no two patients respond the same way, and I learnt how to adapt treatment according to prakriti, diet habits, stress levels. Skin problems always catch attention first — psoriasis, eczema, acne that stays for years — but I understood that they often start from inside, from digestion or blood impurities. Gut issues like acidity, constipation, IBS are also common in my practice, and here small corrections in food timing or herbs can change a lot. Anorectal cases, especially piles and fissure, are painful both physically and mentally for patients, so I try to bring a treatment plan that is safe, non-invasive when possible, and focused on long term relief not just temporary fixes. Working with such variety of disorders also taught me patience. Some patients want fast results, but Ayurveda needs time to clean the root cause. I explain them carefully, sometimes repeating many times, that slow healing is stronger healing. Building that trust is important. My approach is always to combine herbal formulations, diet advice, and lifestyle correction with procedures when required, to ensure balance is restored and maintained. For me, Ayurveda is not a set of ready remedies but a flexible science that adapts to each person. Whether it’s skin, gut or anorectal problems, my focus stays on listening, understanding and guiding patients with clarity, honesty and steady support.

Dr. Shreya Tavhare
I am a pediatrician working in Ayurveda since the last 8+ yrs. I did my masters in Kaumarbhritya (Ayurvedic pediatrics & neonatology) from MUHS Nasik, and honestly, that whole phase of study made me look at child health in a very diff way. I mean, kids are not just smaller adults... their agni, doshas, immunity (ojas) – all work diff and change super fast. And if we catch imbalances early, we can prevent sooo much future disease. That’s what keeps me drawn to this field again n again. I’ve been treating conditions like recurrent cough, digestive issues, low weight, delayed milestones, worm infestations, even stuff like hyperactive behaviour n sleep trouble. Some kids get better quickly, others need time n small course corrections. I like to work close with parents — answer all the “why’s” they bring, explain every step if I can. Sometimes they ask the same q’s multiple times, but I get it... they’re worried. I would be too. My core focus stays around strengthening immunity, gut health, and supporting proper development — both physical n mental. I use classical herbs, lehan, swarna prashan, and yes... lot of diet tweaking, too. I don’t believe in rushing or blindly copying textbook plans. Each child reacts diff. Ayurveda teaches you that if you listen well. I also work in rural setups sometimes, and tbh, the satisfaction there is just... something else. Fewer resources, more trust, more responsibility. Keeps me grounded. This work’s not flashy, but it’s real. And if the baby smiles, eats, sleeps, and the parents start sleeping again too... I know we’re on the right path.
