Post-traumatic hair loss can be deeply distressing, but Ayurveda offers holistic solutions. The focus should be on nourishing the scalp and strengthening hair roots. Start massaging your scalp gently with bhringraj or coconut oil infused with hibiscus and amla twice a week to improve circulation and promote growth. Internally, take herbs like Brahmi and Ashwagandha, under guidance, to support nerve health and reduce stress, which often worsens hair loss. Include a diet rich in proteins, leafy greens, and healthy fats to nourish hair from within. Avoid harsh chemical treatments and heat styling. Regular pranayama and meditation can also help manage stress and improve overall well-being.

Namaste Janu ji, For hair loss and partial baldness, especially after a head injury, Ayurveda offers effective remedies to support hair growth and restore confidence. Herbal Remedies for Hair Growth: Bhringraj Oil: Apply Bhringraj oil or Neelibhringadi Taila to your scalp regularly. These oils strengthen hair follicles and promote growth. Amla and Brahmi Oil: Massage Amla oil and Brahmi oil into the scalp to improve circulation and nourish hair roots. Fenugreek (Methi) Seeds: Soak fenugreek seeds overnight, grind them into a paste, and apply to the scalp to reduce hair fall and stimulate growth. Brahmi and Ashwagandha: Take Brahmi and Ashwagandha supplements for overall hair nourishment and stress reduction. Dietary Recommendations: Consume black sesame seeds, almonds, and pumpkin seeds to improve hair health. Drink Amla juice daily for vitamin C, which supports hair growth. Add cow’s ghee and flaxseeds to your diet for better nourishment. Lifestyle and Hair Care: Avoid tight hairstyles, excessive heat, and chemical treatments. Practice gentle hair care with mild herbal shampoos like Shikakai and Reetha. Regular Abhyanga (oil massage) with Dhanvantaram Taila helps nourish the scalp. Internal Care: Triphala Churna at bedtime aids in detoxifying the body and promoting healthy hair growth. Take Rasayana herbs like Kalyanaka Ghrita to rejuvenate hair follicles and restore vitality. Consistency with these remedies can promote hair regrowth over time. Consult an Ayurvedic vaidya for a personalized plan. Stay positive and patient, healing is a gradual process. Dhanyavad!
