Doctors' responses

HELLO, First thing, A properly done root canal does NOT cause kidney disease. There is no scientific evidence that a root canal on lower front teeth affects kidney function- even though in Traditional Chinese medicine the lower incisors are sometimes mapped to the “kidney meridian”. Meridian theory is energetic, not anatomical. The tooth nerve and the kidney are not physically connected. SINCE -root canal was less than a month ago -you have no kidney symptoms -you maintain excellent oral hygiene Your kidneys are safe In Ayurveda, -TEETH= ashthi dhatu (bone tissue) -Kidneys relate to mutravhaa srotas -Trauma + dental procedure can mildly aggravate vata dosha This does NOT mean kidney damage. It just means the body needs grounding and nourishment after trauma MANAGEMENT 1) CALM VATA Because trauma + dental drilling increases vata -warm cooked foods -avoid excess cold, dry , raw foods -sleep before 10:30 pm -gentle oil massage sesame oil to feet nightly 2) SUPPORT BONE AND TEETH -1 tsp black sesame seeds daily -warm milk with a pinch of turmeric at night -soaked almonds. 4-5 daily -mineral rich diet leafy greens, dates -ASHWAGANDHA CHURNA= 1 tsp with warm milk at night for vata and tisue repair -DASHMOOLA KASHAYA= 20 ml + equal water twice daily before meals =if inflammation present 3) SUPPORT KIDNEY ENERGY Since you have NO symptoms, this is just supportive -stay well hydrated -avoid excessive salt -avoid chronic stress -gentle pranayam (especially nadi sodhana) HOW TO KEEP ROOT CANAL TEETH FOR LIFE Root canal teeth can last 20-40+ years if cared for properly MUST DO -excellent brushing you already do -daily flossing especially around crowns -use a water flosser if possible -dental checkup every 6 months -night guard if you grind teeth WATCH FOR -pain on biting -gum swelling -crown loosening If none of these-> you are fine CAN THE AREA HEAL? The nerve inside the tooth will not regrow- that’s normal BUT -bone heals -ligaments heal -gum heals -energy balance normalizes Your body is very capable of adapting YOUR CASE -healthy person -trauma related -no kidney symptoms -excellent hygiene PROGNOSIS= VERY GOOD DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU

In Ayurveda it in not believed, in such meridian. So don’t worry Use dant kanti powder mix with sesame oil and apply on teeth and gums in that area. Keep it for 5 minutes and then Gargle. You should have calcium rich foods in your diet daily, have bananas, milk and milk products in your diet daily.

No, root canal on lower front teeth will not cause future kidney problems. ✓Can the area heal or regenerate? The tooth’s internal nerve/pulp is permanently removed during root canal = it does not regenerate. However, the surrounding bone, periodontal ligament and gums can and usually do heal completely and stay healthy lifelong with good care. ✓How to keep root-canaled teeth + crowns for life Continue your excellent oral hygiene = brush 2×/day (soft brush, 2 min), floss daily, use non-alcohol fluoride mouthwash at night Use desensitizing toothpaste (Sensodyne Repair & Protect or similar) for the first 3–6 months Get professional cleaning every 6 months Wear a custom night guard if you clench/grind Avoid chewing ice, hard candy, nuts, or using front teeth as tools Annual dental X-rays to monitor root tips & bone health ✓Supportive Ayurvedic measures Oil pulling = 5–10 min morning with warm sesame or coconut oil Triphala Churna = 3 gm night with warm water Neem twig or herbal toothpaste Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma

Nothing like that, if u have no other symptoms , as u said root canal procedure done 1 month ago, but otherwise u are Healthy mnz there is no kidney issue but if u are in doubt then go for test ----KFT, URINE ROUTINE AND MICROSCOPIC . — CHINESE meridians doesn’t show any clinical based refrence so don’t wrry for it. – as per your another question will you restore the area so for that - when root canal happened the pulp nerve inside the tooth is removed permanently. So the tooth become non vital but the surrounding area can be heal. – and yes u can keep you root canal for life ---- just keep focus on…proper hygiene - regular checkup - avoid any trauma ----advice- Do trifla gargle once daily and sesame oil pulling 5-10 min. Donot worry. There is no fear of any kind of RENAL ISSUE. For dental health 1. Brush twice a day 2. Floss daily if not possible twice a week 3. Gargle using lukewarm water or TRIPHALA kadha (boil ½ tsp of triphala powder in 2 cups of water, reduce to half) 4. Get regular dental checkups.

Root canal treatment removes infected or damaged nerve tissue from the tooth, but it does not mean it will cause kidney problems. The concept of tooth–organ meridian links comes from traditional systems, but there is no strong scientific evidence that a root canal on specific teeth will directly create future kidney disease, especially if you are currently healthy and symptom-free. Healing now depends mainly on good dental care: • Maintain excellent oral hygiene (brushing, flossing, regular dental checkups) • Ensure crowns are well fitted and reviewed periodically • Avoid excessive biting pressure or teeth grinding • Support general health with proper hydration, balanced diet and stress management The surrounding bone and tissues can stabilize well after proper treatment. If you want supportive holistic care, gentle anti-inflammatory diet and overall vitality support may help, but no specific herb is required just because of the meridian theory. Continue follow-up with your dentist, and if you want a personalized supportive plan, a consultation can help guide long-term maintenance safely.
