Hello I get why you’re worried about your 16-year-old. Past surgeries, infections, and all that stuff can leave a mark on his body and defenses. Even if he seems okay now, his nerves, teeth, and how he feels pain might still be pretty sensitive. The good thing is, Ayurveda can really help rebuild things the right way. AYURVEDIC VIEW Basically, here’s what’s going on from an Ayurvedic point of view: –He’s got some imbalances in his energy. –His tissues are weak. –His immunity is low. This happened because: –Early hospital stays stirred things up. –Infections caused some damage. –Kidney surgery made his bones and other stuff weak. –Antibiotics drained his defenses. –Since teeth are part of the bone structure, weak bones translates to sensitive teeth. And his fear of pain? That’s just his nervous system overreacting. Here’s the plan: We need to rebuild, strengthen his nerves, and replenish minerals. INTERNAL MEDICATION 1. Praval Pishti 250 mg, twice a day with honey → Good for teeth and nerves, less sensitivity 2 Ashwagandha Churna ½ tsp, twice a day with warm milk → Builds up nerves, eases fear, balances things out 3. Yashtimadhu Churna ½ tsp, twice a day → Helps heal stuff, strengthens enamel, and supports his kidneys 4 Kumar Kalyan Ras (plain) 1 tablet, once a day → Rebuilds tissues and boosts immunity for kids Dealing with Tooth Sensitivity: Oil pulling every day: –Warm sesame oil –Swish for 5 minutes, spit it out, then rinse –Twice a week: Gum massage Massage his gums with Yashtimadhu powder mixed with honey This helps fix enamel and nerves What to Eat: Make sure he eats plenty of: –Milk –Ghee –Dates –Soaked almonds –Rice –Moong dal –Coconut ❌AVOID – Cold drinks – Packaged stuff – Chips – Chocolates – Too much salt – Junk food Healing His Nerves: Every day: –10 minutes of deep breathing –Early bedtime –No screens after 9 PM –This helps chill out his oversensitive nerves. His body isn’t weak; it’s just sensitive from healing. Ayurveda can help rebuild his bones, nerves, and defenses, so he gets stronger from the inside. Take care, Dr. Snehal Vidhate

HELLO, FROM WHATYOU DESCRIBED -sensitive teeth for >6 months -general body sesitivity -fear of pain -past histroy= appendix remove, vasculitis + infection in infancy, kidney blockage surgery -currently otherwise healthy In Ayurveda, this pattern often indicates -vata aggravation -associated pitta involvement -nervous system hypersentivity -possible low tissue robustness At 16, the body is still maturing , so treatment must be gentle and strengthening, not overly detoxifying AYURVEDIC VIEW 1) SENSITIVE TEETH usually linked to -vata in asthi Dhatu bone tissue -receding gums/enamel thinnig -excess dryness -weak rasa and asthi nourishment 2) BODY SENSITIVITY + FEAR OF PAIN Classic signs of -prana vata aggravation -nervous system hyper reactivity -residual trauma imprint from early illness/surgery -vata lodged in nerve tissue INTERNAL SUPPORT 1) ASHWAGANDHA CHURNA= 1/2 ts with warm milk at night =nervous system strengthening, reducing fear response, building resilience, improving tissue strength 2) BRAHMI CAPSULE= 250mg cap in morning =calms prana vata, improves emotional steadiness, good for adolescents 3) SHATAVARI CHURNA= 1/2 tsp in warm milk at night (alternate days one day ashwaandha on day shatavari) =nourishes tissues, good for lean body type, reduces internal heat from past inflammation 4) PRAVAL PISHTI= 125 mg once daily with honey after breakfast =strengthens enamel reduces dentin sensitivity, balances pitta in bone tissue FOR TEETH (VERY IMPORTANT) DAILY OIL PULLING USE -warm sesame oil -swish 5-7 min morning REDUCES -sensitivity -gum recession -vata in teeth HERBAL TOOTH POWDER MIX -triphala powder -a pinch of clove powder -a small amount of liquorice powder Brush gently no aggressive brushing AVOID -whitening toothpastes -very cold foods -ice drinks EXTERNAL THERAPIES 1) DAILY OIL MASSAGE -use warm sesame oil focus= spine, feet, head This is extremely important for body sensitivity Even 10min daily Reduces Vata significantly 2) FOOT OIL MASSAGE BEFORE BED This alone can reduce -fear -nervous reactivity -pain anticipation DIET -warm food -ghee -milk -rice, oats -root vegetabes -almonds soaked overnight AVOID -excess raw food -dry snacks -cold drinks -too much spicy food -excess sour items EMOTIONAL COMPONENT Children with early hositalization sometimes retain subtle nervous system memory VERY HELPFUL -Slow breathing practice 5 min daily -grounding activities walking barefoot on grass -regular routine -early sleep IMPORTANT NOTE Since he had -kidney surgery -vasculitis history AVOID -strong herbs -excess triphala internally -and any guggulu preparatin DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU

Thank you for explaining clearly Since your son is 16 years old, generally healthy now, but has Very sensitive teeth Sensitive body / low pain tolerance Fear of pain Past history of surgery & inflammation Ayurveda, this usually indicates Vata dominance + nervous sensitivity. You can give mild herbs — but gently and safely. For Sensitive Teeth Use this daily Apply Sesame oil (til oil) on gums Gentle massage 2–3 minutes Then warm water rinse Brush with herbal tooth powder containing Babool Triphala Clove (very mild) or Darshnasamaskara churnam Avoid Very cold water Ice creams Hard brushing For Body Sensitivity & Fear Morning Ashwagandha powder ¼–½ tsp with warm milk at night (Only if digestion is good) Brahmi syrup 1 tsp at night HelpsNervous system Fear Confidence Better sleep Diet for Vata Children Give more Ghee in food Warm cooked food Moong dal Almonds (2 soaked daily) Avoid Dry snacks Excess mobile at night Skipping meals

Since he had Vasculitis Kidney issue at birth Do NOT give strong detox herbs or heavy medicines without doctor supervision.

Thankyou so very much i really appreciate it

–STEP 1 – Calm Vata First (Most Important) For 2 weeks, focus only on lifestyle. ✅ Warm cooked foods (soups, rice, oats, cooked vegetables) ✅ No cold drinks or ice ✅ Regular meal times ✅ Sleep before 10:30 pm ✅ Keep body warm (no cold exposure) In Ayurveda, this reduces excess Vata, which causes nerve and tooth sensitivity. - STEP 2 – Daily Oil Support Morning: Oil pulling 1 teaspoon warm sesame oil Swish gently 2–3 minutes Spit out Brush teeth Rub a little warm sesame oil on gums (very gentle). This strengthens teeth in Ayurveda. - STEP 3 – Add ONE Herb Only (After 1 Week) Choose ONE: Option A: Ashwagandha Small dose at night 1/4 tsf with luke warm milk Helps fear, strengthens nerves OR Option B: Brahmi vati 1 Morning Calms mind, reduces overthinking Start low dose. Watch for 7 days before adding anything else. - STEP 4 – Evening Calming Tea Chamomile tea before bed → Calms Vata → Helps pain sensitivity 🚫 Avoid Cold foods Dry snacks Fasting Strong detox herbs Too many herbs together -----Because he had: Kidney blockage surgery History of vasculitis Early infection complications –I would avoid: Strong detox herbs High-dose immune stimulants (like echinacea long term) Unknown herbal blends His kidneys are fine now, but we still want to be gentle.
