It is due to the imbalance of Kapha and Rakhta which leads to localized swelling or extra flesh Since you are generally in healthy condition and the growth is painless but increasing so we will focus ons crapping or reducing the access tissue and purifying the local dhaatu 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 1) kanchnar gugglu- 2 tablet twice daily after food with warm water 2) varanadi kashayam- 15 ml with 45 ml lukewarm water twice daily on empty stomach 3) triphala churna+ honey- 1 tsf mix into a paste gently massage on the affected gums and leave for 5 minutes 4) arimedadi thailam - 10 ml hold in mouth for oil pulling 5 to 10 minutes every morning Include Use spices like turmeric, ginger, and black pepper in cooking to improve metabolism. Avoid: Heavy, oily, and excessively sweet foods. Strictly limit curd (yogurt), fermented items, and refined sugar Sip warm water throughout the day Use a soft-bristled brush to avoid trauma to the overgrown tissue. Encourage the use of herbal toothpowders containing Neem or Vajradanti. Frequent gargling with warm saline water Regular physical activity helps balance Kapha and improves systemic circulation, which is essential for managing localized growths.

Visit a dentist or oral specialist as soon as possible (ideally within a few days) They may refer you to an Oral Pathologist if needed. —Treatment may include: Simple cleaning (if due to irritation) Minor surgical removal (common and usually quick)

This kind of gum growth is usually due to gum overgrowth or localized tissue swelling (often from plaque, irritation, or mild infection). Even if there is no pain, gradual increase should not be ignored. First, maintain proper oral hygiene. Use a soft toothbrush and clean the area gently. At home: Do warm salt water gargles 2–3 times daily. You can also use neem or clove water for rinsing. Avoid hard brushing, using toothpicks, or disturbing that area. Khadiradi vati – 1 tablet to suck 2–3 times daily Triphala churna – ½ teaspoon at bedtime These help in improving gum health and reducing inflammation. Important: Since the growth is increasing, it is advisable to consult a dentist once. Sometimes cleaning or a minor procedure may be required. Regards, Dr Raghuveer (Ayurvedacharya)

1. Immediate Steps & Dental Consultation Since you have never visited a dentist, this is the most critical first step. Even if it doesn’t hurt, a professional must check for: Local Irritants: Deep-seated tartar (calculus) under the gum line that causes the body to grow extra tissue as a reaction. Fibrous Growths: Benign growths like a “Pyogenic Granuloma” or “Epulis” which are common and easily treatable but won’t go away with medicine alone. Medication Side Effects: Sometimes, blood pressure or anti-seizure medications cause this, though you mentioned being generally healthy. 2. Ayurvedic Oral Hygiene (Kavala & Gandusha) To slow the growth and improve gum health, you can start these traditional practices: *Triphala Gaggulu (Mouth Wash): Boil 1 teaspoon of Triphala Churna in a glass of water, strain it, and use it as a lukewarm mouthwash twice a day. *Irimedadi Taila (Oil Pulling):Take 1 tablespoon of the oil, swish it in your mouth for 5–10 minutes, and spit it out. *Manjistha Churna: Applying a paste of Manjistha and honey directly to the growth for 10 minutes before rinsing

Hello, Considering your description, this “extra flesh” on the gum is likely a localized gingival overgrowth. While painless, the fact that it is increasing daily suggests it could be an inflammatory response or a localized growth like a pyogenic granuloma or epulis. In Ayurveda, this is often correlated with Dantavesta or Shitada (diseases of the gums), usually caused by an imbalance of Kapha and Rakta (blood) doshas. The “extra flesh” (Mamsa Vriddhi) indicates an accumulation of vitiated Kapha and Medas in the oral mucosa. Ayurveda Medicines : 1. Triphala Guggulu Action: Acts as a potent anti-inflammatory and “Lekhana” (scraping) agent to reduce tissue overgrowth. Dose: 2 tablets twice daily after food with lukewarm water. 2. Kanchanara Guggulu Action: Specifically indicated for glandular swellings and extra tissue growths (Granthi/Arbudha). Dose: 2 tablets twice daily after food with lukewarm water. 3. Khadiradi Kavala (Oil Pulling/Gargle) Action: Uses Arimedadi Thailam or Khadiradi Thailam to strengthen gums and arrest growth. Dose: 10 ml of oil, swish in the mouth for 5–10 minutes every morning on an empty stomach, then spit out.
