Hello Thank you for sharing honestly It is very difficult to deal with 3-4 years of heavy prolonged bleeding Please comfirm -Your hb level? -Is uterus very bulky on ultrasound? -Any fibroids also present? -Do you have severe pain or mainly bleeding? -Is your family complete? I will advice you to consult near by ayurvedic gynaec specialist as on physical examination we can make decision whether surgery is needed or not
So share your USG REPORTS Also discuss about NON SURGICAL ALTERNATIVE with your gyneac MIRENA it releases hormone locally inside uterus - reduces bleeding significantly -less systemic side effects -May shrink ADENOMYOSIS effect For many women this avoids hysterectomy Wishing you a good health 😊 Warm Regards Dr. snehal vidhate

HELLO, Adenomyosis at 40can be exhausting- especially when bleeding lasts for week without hormones. **Adenomyosis is a structural condition(uterine muscle thickening with endometrial tissue inside). Ayurveda can reduce bleeding, pain, inflammation, and progression, but reversal is difficult once well-established. The goal is symptom control and avoiding surgery if possible In Ayurveda, It resembles -Asrigdara (excess menstrual bleeding) -Artavavaha srotas dushti -Often involves pitta + vata imbalance Pitta-> heavy/prolonged bleeding Vata-> pain, irregularity Kapha-> uterine thickening AYURVEDIC MANAGEMENT PLAN 1) TO REDUCE HEAVY BLEEDING -ASHOKARISHTA= 20ml with equal water twice daily after meals controls uterine bleeding -LODHRA CHURNA= 1 tsp twice daily with honey after meals -NAGESHAR + MISHRI POWDER=

IMPORTANT QUESTION Are you having -severe anemia? -severe pelvic pain? -uterus enlarged on scan? If bleeding lasts more than a month without hormones, that suggest moderate to severe disease Mild to moderate adenomyosis-> can improve significantly Severe , enlarged uterus-> management possible but. cure unlikely If Hb keeps dropping-> surgery may become safest option DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU

Hello dear opting for a surgery or alternative treatment while dependent on your decision, it is important to understand the stage the diseases is in. There are ayurvedic methods to manage the pain and reduce the size of your uterus but it will take time atleast 3 months for more than 50 % relief. And you are nearing the age for menopause and these symptoms will naturally go down with the reduction of estrogen in your body. Initially you can start Ayurvedic medicines as a supportive therapy because you are already on hormonal treatment and stopping that abruptly will lead to worsening of symptoms. So reach out with your newest reports, blood works, USG TVS hormonal assessment etc. and continue ayurvedic medicines as supportive therapy until hormonal balance is stabilized and withdraw hormonal medications entirely. 100% cure cannot be guaranteed. But surgery can definitely be avoided if your condition is not at a very severe stage, and your quality of life can be definitely improved. Then like I said before as your menopause approaches you will get better relief naturally also. Specific Medicines can’t be fixed now with out knowing your exact symptoms and supporting reports. What we can do is correct the vata imbalance that has happened and pain. Targetted medicines should be prescribed exactly after knowing your current menstrual condition and menstrual history. Take these medicines as an initial stage of treatment * Chandraprabha vati 1 tab twice daily after food * Sukumaram kashayam 15 ml twice daily before food mixed with 60 ml luke warm water *Lasunadi vati 1 tab+ dhanwantaram gulika 2tab thrice daily before food * Cap. Brucast O 1 cap at bedtime * Hinguvachadi choorna 3gm mixed with kashaya. These medicines will prepare the body for the further steps. Also in diet Avoid rice, banana, coconut, curd, sour food fermented foods fried food, spicy foods etc. avoid milk and milk products. Avoid jaggery for now

Adenomyosis for 3–4 years with bleeding lasting more than a month without hormones means the uterus lining is deeply inflamed and hormonally sensitive. Mirena or hysterectomy are suggested when bleeding becomes difficult to control — but surgery is not the only option in every case. The important question is: • How low is your hemoglobin? • How thick is the uterus on scan? • Are there clots and severe pain? • Is your family complete? Adenomyosis is not just a “uterus problem.” It is a hormonal–inflammatory imbalance. If we only suppress bleeding with hormones, symptoms return once tablets stop. In Ayurveda, management focuses on: • Reducing excessive uterine bleeding • Correcting hormonal rhythm • Controlling pelvic inflammation • Improving hemoglobin • Preventing further thickening When planned properly, many women can reduce bleeding significantly and avoid hysterectomy — but this requires structured treatment for a few months, not random medicines. However, if: • Hemoglobin is very low • Bleeding is uncontrollable • Severe anemia or repeated hospital admissions then delaying intervention may not be safe. Before deciding on Mirena or surgery, a detailed evaluation of your scan reports and blood tests is essential. Based on that, we can judge realistically whether conservative management is possible in your case. This is not something that can be advised generically. If you would like, we can review your reports in consultation and create a step-by-step plan aimed at reducing bleeding naturally and helping you avoid surgery safely, if your condition allows.
