Doctors' responses

Lipomas are benign growths composed of fatty tissue, often indicating an imbalance of Kapha dosha, which leads to fat accumulation. In Ayurveda, managing lipomas involves a holistic approach. Begin with Kanchanar Guggulu (2 tablets twice daily) to promote fat metabolism and support thyroid function. Additionally, incorporate Kanchanar powder (1 teaspoon with warm water) to aid in detoxification and fat reduction. Use Neem capsules (500 mg twice daily) for their blood-purifying and anti-inflammatory properties. A Kapha-pacifying diet is essential; focus on bitter and astringent foods like bitter gourd, leafy greens, and legumes while avoiding heavy, oily, and sugary items. Consider Panchakarma therapies, particularly Virechana (therapeutic purgation) and Abhyanga (herbal oil massage), to detoxify and balance Kapha. Practice udwartan therapy with Triphala powder regularly under a doctor’s guidance. Regular exercise, especially activities that promote sweating and fat metabolism, will be beneficial. Working with a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner will help create a personalized treatment plan and provide ongoing support, as while Ayurveda can help manage lipomas, surgical removal may still be necessary for larger or symptomatic lipomas.

Alrighty, jumping straight into it – lipoma, those squishy lumps beneath your skin, can be a bit annoying but they’re typically harmless. In Ayurveda, lipomas are considered as “Medoj Granthi”, which are benign fatty swellings primarily due to imbalances of Kapha dosha.

Now, an Ayurvedic approach could indeed bring some relief, especially if homeopathy hasn’t done the trick for you. But hey, remember that lipomas might not get zapped out completely – it’s more about aiming for natural management and reduction.

So first, let’s tackle diet. Gotta balance that Kapha, you know? Try cutting down on those heavy, greasy foods and opt for lighter, spicy fare. Think of moong dal, quinoa, and fresh veg. Avoid dairy (except maybe bit of yogurt), processed sugars and deep-fried snacks. Let’s kickstart that Agni (digestive fire)!

A simple home remedy you can try is turmeric. It’s like magic spice. Mix turmeric with honey and have a teaspoon in the morning. This anti-inflammatory spice might work its wonders slowly.

And there’s Guggulu, a marvel in Ayurveda, which helps in balancing fat deposition. Pick up Kanchnar Guggulu tabs if possible – one in morning, one in evening with warm water after meals can be beneficial, but you might wanna check with a professional for dosage.

Exercise – don’t skip that! A brisk walk, cycling, maybe yoga like Surya Namaskar if that’s your thing. Anything to stop Kapha from just getting stuck.

Warm oil massages might help too. Essential oils like clove or ginger can help break down the fatty tissue when applied with gentle massage (once or twice a day).

But, despite all these tips, lipomas usually don’t vanish overnight. If they continue to bug you, don’t hesitate to consult a specialist. Your health’s top priority alright? :)
