Experiencing persistent dizziness and instability can be unsettling, and it’s good to hear that you’ve checked your brain health with a CT scan. Deficiencies in Vitamin D and B12 are commonly associated with symptoms of dizziness, fatigue, and imbalance, as they are essential for nerve health, bone strength, and overall energy levels. Ayurveda views these symptoms as potentially linked to Vata imbalance, which affects the nervous system and can lead to instability and light-headedness.

To support your recovery, focus on increasing your intake of foods rich in Vitamin D and B12, such as fortified dairy products, mushrooms, and for B12 specifically, eggs, dairy, and fortified cereals if you are vegetarian. Exposure to early morning sunlight also helps naturally boost Vitamin D levels. You may want to discuss Vitamin D and B12 supplements with your healthcare provider to address these deficiencies more quickly.

In terms of Ayurvedic support, grounding and nourishing practices can help balance Vata. Include warm, cooked meals with healthy fats like ghee, sesame oil, and coconut oil in your diet, which are known to stabilize Vata. Herbs such as Ashwagandha and Brahmi can support nerve health and reduce dizziness, but they should be taken under the guidance of an Ayurvedic practitioner. Additionally, daily Abhyanga (oil massage) using warm sesame oil on the body can provide grounding and stability to the nervous system. Gentle, restorative yoga and breathing exercises, like Pranayama, can also enhance mental clarity and reduce feelings of instability. As you address these deficiencies and make supportive lifestyle adjustments, you should begin to feel more stable and balanced over time.

Hmm, dizziness with a sense of instability does sound unnpleasant and it’s good that you’ve already checked with a brain scan, that rules out some serious stuff. But those low vitmain D and B12 levels can definitely be party planners behind your symptoms. Both these vitamins play a role in keeping your neuromuscular system in check. Without them, your body’s balance and coordination can feel a bit…off.

Now, from an Ayurvedic perspective, we’d wanna look at your doshas, and specifically Vata dosha here cuz it controls movement and nervous system function. An imbalance in Vata can lead to nervous system issues, which could be part of this whole dizziness thing.

Okay, so, here’s what you could start with: sun exposure is key for Vitamin D, try getting out in the early morning sun—just about 15-20 minutes when UV rays are gentle. For your diet, include foods like eggs, fish like salmon, and fortified cereals. These are good sources of Vit D and B12.

Herbs like Ashwagandha and Brahmi could be beneficial too as they’re known to support the nervous system—mix a teaspoon with warm milk or water before bedtime.

And don’t underestimate the power of simple yoga poses. Try “Tadasana” and “Vrksasana” to improve balance and strengthen muscles. Always go slow and ensure you have some support nearby if you’re feeling shaky.

Also, stay hydrated! Vata can get more aggravated by dehydration, leading to dizziness. Drink room temperature water throughout the day.

You should definetly continue checking in with your regular doc, especially to monitor those vitamin levels since supplements might be necessary if food and sun exposure alone are not enough. If you notice any sudden or worsened symptoms, don’t hesitate to reach out for immediate medical attention. It’s always better to be safe… Hope you get back on more stabile ground soon!
