I recently came across the term CBT, and I realized I don’t fully understand what it is or how it works. I know it’s a type of therapy, but I don’t know how it differs from other treatments for mental health. What exactly is CBT, and what mental health conditions is it used for? I read that it’s based on changing negative thought patterns—does that mean it helps with anxiety, depression, and stress-related issues? Also, how long does it take for CBT to show results, and does it work for everyone? I also want to understand how CBT is different from traditional talk therapy. Does it involve specific exercises or strategies, and can it be practiced at home? Are there Ayurvedic or natural approaches that work well alongside CBT for better mental health?
