Depression and other disorders related to the mind can only be treated when you make up ur mind to get rid of them.

Try and avoid the trigger factors as much possible. Anxiety is a state of mind which you can surely control by altering your thoughts…

Just note the patterns n timings of the feeling and make yourself busy in that time… If you have nothing to do at that time simple do some physical activity or go for a walk or if it is possible for you concentrate on your breath(which most of the people find difficult to do)

Anulomvilom and Bhramari Pranayam will help. But you have to do it early in the morning only.

Donot get yourself into any addictions. Donot drink tea or coffee or aerated drinks.

Reduce screen time… No screen in darkness and 1 hour before you sleep. Consume audio form of data rather than visuals before you sleep. Filter the content of data you consume… Let it be spiritual or positive… too much motivation can also cause depression.

Drink a glass of buffalo milk daily before you sleep; it will help you get a sound sleep.

100 steps after both meals are must.

Eat only home cooked food… Avoid outside food, packed and processed food.

Prefer natural liquids like fruit juice, coconut water, lemon juice, kokum sharbat over packed ones.

Panchendriya Vardhan Tailam 2 drops in each nostril early in the morning empty stomach.

Cap. Memorin(S.G.Phytopharma) 2 caps twice a day before food.

Syp. Prasham 4 tsp at bed time with lukewarm water. Tab. Manasmitra Vatak 2 tabs at bed time.

Facing health anxiety, panic attacks, and agoraphobia can be quite overwhelming, especially when it feels like treatments haven’t been helpful. Ayurveda, having a holistic approach to health, can indeed offer supportive measures to complement your existing treatments. However, with feelings of wanting to end your life, reaching out for immediate professional support is crucial. Remember, alliance with mental health professionals is crucial for safety and guidance.

Now, from an Ayurvedic perspective, let’s focus on strategies to balance your mind and body. Anxiety and panic often correlate with Vata dosha imbalance, governing movement and change. The goal is to pacify Vata and enhance grounding.

For diet, consider consuming warm, grounding, and nourishing foods. Soup, whole grains like rice or oats, and sweet fruits can be soothing. Avoid caffeine, sugar, and processed foods, as they might increase restlessness. Eating regularly is important; don’t skip meals as this destabilizes Vata even more.

Incorporating daily Abhyanga, or oil self-massage, can calm the nervous system. Use warm sesame oil for this, applying it in gentle, circular motions—preferably in the morning before showering. This simple practice can offer a sense of safety and nurturing.

Pranayama, or breath control exercises, can be significantly beneficial. Begin with Nadi Shodhana (alternative nostril breathing) for a few minutes each day. This practice helps to create balance and calm within the nervous system.

If possible, integrate moments of mindfulness or meditation into your day. Start with just 5 or 10 minutes, focusing on breathing. Guided meditations can be an easier start if silence feels daunting.

Remember that taking small, consistent steps really matters. Try to maintain a routine; sleep and wake-up times regularized can create stability for Vata types but more importantly, please prioritize seeking further support from a mental health practioner to assist you in this journey.
