I am really confused and need some help. My doctor recently told me my uric acid levels are high and I should watch what I eat. I’ve been trying to research foods that could help lower it and came across pumpkin. I remember my grandma used to say that pumpkin is good for everything, but I'm unsure if that includes uric acid? I had some pumpkin soup last week, and I loved it, but now I wonder if it’s really good for uric acid. I also read somewhere that it’s been used in Ayurvedic medicine, which makes me curious. Can anyone share if pumpkin is good for uric acid? Like, should I be eating more of it, or is it just another myth? And also, are there any specific ways to prepare pumpkin that might help with this issue? I mean, does seasoning matter or something? Just trying to figure this all out cause I don’t wanna mess my health anymore than it is. Appreciate any tips!
