Mi hermana mujer 50 años realizo asthanga yoga por 5 años , organizo mucho su estructura, pero hace algun tiempo se desestabilizo mentalmente desarrollando ataques de ira y episodios sicoticos...puede ayudarme el ayurveda a recobrar la salud mental? fue a raiz del yoga? o es algo en sugenetica.. Creo es vata pita ...porque he leido un poco de ayurveda.. Gracias Ana su hermana. Ahora esta internada en atencion siquiatrica

It is usually a combination of stress emotional pressure plus vata pitta imbalance that finally shows up as anger, episodes, restlessness, agitation, or psychosis

Ayurveda can help her recover mental stability, but only as a support to psychiatric treatment, not a replacement during active psychosis. Alopathi treatment is essential. Ayurveda becomes useful once she is little stable.

Whole body massage with warm sesame oil or coconut oil can be done on alternate days Shirodhara can be done on later dates, but should not be done during active psychosis She can start on Manasamitra vatikam one tablet twice daily after food with warm water Brahmi gritha 1 tablespoon with warm water at morning Saraswathi aristha 4 teaspoon with equal amount of water twice daily after meals Jatamamsi churna half teaspoon with warm water at night Regular sleep, wake tume no fasting, no excessive yoga breath work Avoid spicy, sour, vinegar, coffee, very intensive workout
