Good afternoon !! iam feeling anxiety ,palpitations and insomnia since 3 days . I have consulted ayurveda doctor here in my town. Doctor prescribed arjunarista,HT-KOT tab , i can see little improvment from this medication Kindly advise better medication to get faster relief Thanks so much !!

When you experience anxiety, palpitations, and insomnia, it often indicates an imbalance in the Vata and Pitta doshas. Arjuna (used in Arjunarista) is beneficial for calming the heart and managing anxiety but, let’s delve a bit deeper for more comprehensive relief.

Consider incorporating Brahmi and Ashwagandha into your regimen. Brahmi is excellent for calming the mind, reducing mental stress and promoting restful sleep. Ashwagandha, meanwhile, supports the reduction of stress and balances cortisol levels, encouraging calmness. Take Brahmi in powder form, about 1 teaspoon in the morning with warm water. Ashwagandha can be consumed at night; take 1 teaspoon mixed in warm milkor water.

Minding your diet will further aid in balancing Vata and Pitta. Steer clear of spicy, fried, and processed foods; instead, opt for meals that are warm, nourishing, and slightly oily. Include foods like cooked leafy greens, beets, and sweet root vegetables. Drinking Cumin-Coriander-Fennel tea throughout the day can help soothe digestion and calm the system.

Creating a calm evening routine could be a game-changer for your insomnia. Try massaging warm sesame oil onto your scalp and soles of feet before sleep. This ancient practice helps ground Vata and relaxes the entire body. Establishing regular sleep-wake cycles is crucial; aim to sleep by 10pm for restoration of natural rhythms.

Remember though, if you continue experiencing distress or symptoms worsen, it is important to seek further consultation from your healthcare provider. They might need to reassess your condition and treatments. Stay attentive to your body’s responses, adjust treatments based on professional advice not solely on personal initiative.
