HELLO, You are experiencing a condition commonly described as Neurosthenia. In simple words, this means -long standing mental and physical exhaution -feelin tired even after rest -whole body pain without clear injurt -low mood, sadness, lack of interest -continous negative thoughts -difficulty mixing with people, fear or discomfort in social situations -feeling “empty” , “drained” or “not myself” According to Ayurevda, this condition is mainly due to -Vata dosha aggravation (responsible for nervous system, thoughts, sleep) -Rajo-tamo guna dominance (mental imbalance causing fear, negativity, dullness) -Manovaha srotas and Majja dhatu weakness (mind-nerve tissue exhaustion ) This does NOT mean permanent brain damage. It means the nervous system is overworked and undernourished for a long time Ayurveda sees this as a reversible, manageable condition with proper nourishment, calming therapies, and lifestyle correction WHY THIS HAPPENED -long term stress or emotional suppression -excess thinking, worry, fear -irregular slee -overuse of mobile/screens -poor digestion and nutrition -social withdrawal increasing mental isolation -chronic fatigue for more than 6 months TREATMENT GOALS -calm the nervous system -nourish brain and nerve tissue -improve sleep quality -reduce negative shouts cycles -increase physical energy -gradually improve social comfort -restore confidence and mental stability Ayurvedic treatment works slowly but deeply, aiming for long term recovery INTERNAL MEDICATIONS 1) BRAHMI VATI= 1 tab twice daily after meals =improves memory, calms mind, reduces anxiety and negative thoughts 2) ASHWAGANDHA CAPSULES= 1 cap twice daily after meals with warm milk = strengthens nerves , reduces fatigue, improves sleep and stamina 3) SARASWATARISHTA= 20 ml with equal water twice daily after meals = classical tonic for depression, nervous weakness, low confidence 4) KALYAKANA GHRITA= 1 tsp with warm milk in morning =deep nourishment for brain tissue, stabilizes emotions 5) SHANKHAPUSHPI SYRUP= 10 ml twice daily after meals =reduces mental restlessness, improves concentration DOSAGE = minimum 3-6 months Improvement is a gradual but sustained EXTERNAL THERAPIES 1) OIL MASSAGE= BRAHMI TAILA -Frequency= daily =calms vata, reduces body pain and nervous tension 2) NASYA= Anu taila -2 drops each nostril in morning =direct action on brain and nervous system YOGA AASANAS -shavasana -balasana -paschimottanasana -setu bandhasana PRANAYAM -Anulom vilom= 10-15 min daily -Bhramari= 5-7 rounds -Chandra bhedana= calming effect MEDITATION -simple breathing awareness or guided meditation (10 min) Avoid kapalbhati, intense breathing , fast yoga initially DIET -warm, freshly cooked meals -milk, ghee -rice, wheat , oats -green vegetables -almonds 5 soaked daily -dates, raisins -herbal teas (brahmi, chamomile) AVOID -excess tea/coffee -junk, packaged foods -cold, refrigerated meals -skipping meals -excess spicy or dry food LIFESTYLE CHANGES -fixed sleep routine (sleep before 10:30 pm) -no screen use 1 hour before bed -gentle sunlight exposure daily -light walking daily -do not isolate yourself completely- start with one safe person -avoid comparing yourself with others HOME REMEDIES -warm milk + pinch of nutmeg at night -head massage with warm oil before sleep -foot massage before bed -writing thoughts in a dairy to unload mind PROGNOSIS -your condition is treatable -this is not permanent mental illness -recovery is slow but steady -ayurvedic treatment rebuilds strength from inside -avoid self judgment and guilt -consistency maters more than spped Even severe fatigue (10/10) can improve significantly within 3-4 months if treatment and lifestyle are follow sincerely DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU DR. Hello I totally get how awful it is when you’re constantly tired, your whole body hurts, you’re stuck in a loop of bad thoughts, and you just want to hide away from everyone. It feels like such a struggle when even talking to people is hard, and life just feels heavy. But hang in there — this can get better with the right Ayurvedic treatment YOUR CONCERN You’re dealing with: – Brain fog (messed-up brain chemicals) – Extreme tiredness (like, seriously 10/10) – Body aches – Feeling down and having negative thoughts – Not wanting to be around people – Shutting down emotionally From an Ayurvedic point of view, it looks like your Majja Dhatu is low, your Vata and Pitta are out of whack, and your mental Ojas is drained. WHAT AYURVEDA SAYS In Ayurveda, this is seen as: *Manasika Daurbalya + Majja Kshaya + Ojakshaya& It happens because of things like: – Long-term stress – Thinking too much – Bad digestion – Not sleeping well – Tough emotional experiences Basically, your brain isn’t making enough of the good stuff (dopamine, serotonin) because your nerve tissue is dry and weak. WHAT WE NEED TO DO We need to: – Nourish those brain nerves – Calm down Vata – Build up Ojas – Get rid of toxins – Fix your digestion AYURVEDIC PLAN OF TREATMENT 1. Saraswatarishta 15 ml + same amount of water, twice a day after eating → Helps with memory, mood, and feeling stable 2. Ashwagandha capsules 1 capsule, twice a day with food → Helps rebuild your nervous system and fight tiredness 3. Brahmi Vati 1 tablet, twice a day → Fixes the brain chemical balance 4. Mahakalyanaka Ghrita ½ teaspoon in the morning on an empty stomach with warm milk → Really good for your brain FOOD—SUPER IMPORTANTINCLUDE – Milk – Ghee – Rice – Moong dal – Dates – Almonds – Warm meals ❌AVOID – Tea, coffee – Cold drinks – Junk food – Eating late at night LIFESTYLE TIPS – Get to bed before 10:30 pm – Get some sun every day – No phone before bed – Listen to chill music – Breathe deeply and slowly HOW LONG TILL I FEEL BETTER? If you stick with it: – 10–15 days → less anxious – 1 month → more energy – 2–3 months → mood gets better – 3 months → feeling more confident You’re not broken; your nervous system is just tired. Ayurveda can help it heal! Warm Regards Dr. Snehal Vidhate
