I am really struggling with my diet lately. I was diagnosed with diabetes a few months ago, and honestly, it’s been tough. I never really paid attention to what I ate, and now everything feels so overwhelming. I’ve tried cutting out sugar and carbs, but then I feel like I’m stuck eating the same bland things every day. My friend told me about some “superfoods” and “low GI” foods but I’m not sure what that even means. I’ve been eating more veggies, but sometimes I miss my favorite dishes, you know? The other day, I had a bad episode where my blood sugar spiked after I tried to have a small portion of rice, and it freaked me out.
