Your symptoms—difficulty recollecting, anxiety, mood swings, brain fog, and contradictory actions—indicate aggravated Vata and Pitta doshas, often caused by stress, lack of mental clarity, and possibly poor nourishment of the brain tissues (Majja dhatu). Follow this structured Ayurvedic plan for mental balance and improved cognitive function: 1. Strengthen Brain Function Take Brahmi capsules (500 mg) or Brahmi Ghrita (medicated ghee) once daily. Brahmi enhances memory, focus, and mental clarity. Consume Ashwagandha powder (1 teaspoon) with warm milk at bedtime. It calms the nervous system, reduces stress, and promotes restful sleep. 2. Diet for Brain Health Include ghee, almonds, walnuts, and soaked raisins in your diet. These nourish the brain tissues and balance Vata. Drink warm milk with a pinch of turmeric and cardamom at night to promote calmness and mental relaxation. Avoid processed, fried, and spicy foods, as they can aggravate Pitta and lead to mood swings. 3. Manage Anxiety and Mood Swings Practice Nadi Shodhana Pranayama (alternate nostril breathing) for 10–15 minutes daily to calm the mind and balance Vata and Pitta doshas. Meditate for at least 10 minutes each morning to improve focus and reduce anxiety. 4. Improve Cognitive Recollection Take Vacha powder (1/4 teaspoon) with honey in the morning. Vacha is known to improve speech clarity, memory, and mental organization. Drink Shankhpushpi syrup (2 teaspoons twice daily) to enhance recollection and reduce brain fog. 5. Lifestyle Adjustments Sleep for 7–8 hours consistently every night. Poor sleep can worsen brain fog and mood swings. Avoid multitasking and practice mindfulness in daily activities. Focus on one task at a time to reduce cognitive overload. 6. Long-Term Rejuvenation Under the guidance of an Ayurvedic practitioner, consider Rasayana therapy with Medhya Rasayanas like Jyotishmati and Mandukaparni to rejuvenate the mind and improve cognitive functions. Consistency is key. Follow this plan for 6–8 weeks and consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for a personalized approach if the symptoms persist.
