Getting them back to normal, it definitely takes some work but lets see what we can do from an Ayurvedic perspective. First things to consider, the blackening might be due to tartar, cavities, or some sort of discoloration. I'm goin’ to suggest a few natural things, but if the problem's severe, you should really see a dentist. One thing you can try is oil pulling, which is basically swishing around oil in your mouth. Take a tablespoon of coconut or sesame oil, swish it around first thing in the morning on an empty stomach for like 15-20 minutes. Don’t swallow it though! Just spit it out and rinse with warm water. It can help remove toxins and could lighten stains. Also, pay attention to your diet. Too much acidic or sugary foods might be causing this. Try to include a lot of fibrous veggies and fresh fruits like apples n carrots, which can naturally clean teeth. And stay hydrated, of course! Water helps wash away food particles. Herbs like neem and babool have antibacterial properties. You can use a neem twig as a natural toothbrush or get a toothpaste with natural ingredients like these. Chewing on a small piece of liquorice root might help too, it’s great for dental health. Make a paste with mustard oil and a pinch of salt for rubbing on your teeth, gently though, this actually strengthens gums and teeth. But don’t overdo it cuz salt’s abrasive. For more effective results, avoid tobacco and coffee, teeth can really suck that stuff up and it makes discoloration worse. Lastly, prioritize dental check-ups - it’s essential, sometimes we need modern help. Be patient. Change doesn’t happen overnight but stick with it, you got this!
