how increase sex time - #36471

Elijah

I am really struggling with my stamina in the bedroom lately, and I don't know what to do. Me and my partner have been together for a while, but recently we just haven’t been as satisfied... I feel embarrassed to talk about it, but I really want to know how to increase sex time since I just feel like I’m not lasting long enough, ya know? It’s not like I don’t want to, because I do! I mean, we usually get really excited, but often I find myself finishing way too quick, like right after things start heating up. It's frustrating! I’ve tried some stuff like Kegel exercises but not really seen a difference. I read a bit of Ayurveda and got curious if there’s any natural remedies or dietary tips that could help me figure out how increase sex time. Like, are there some herbs or foods that could help with stamina and endurance or maybe some techniques? If anyone has gone through something similar or has suggestions on how to increase sex time, I’d love to hear! I’m all about getting back that spark and enjoying things longer, but I need some guidance before we both get too disappointed!

Doctors' responses

When it comes to increasing stamina and endurance, Ayurveda offers a holistic approach that includes diet, lifestyle, and specific herbal remedies. Understanding and balancing your individual dosha—Vata, Pitta, or Kapha—is crucial for customizing these practices. Since premature ejaculation may relate often with Vata or Pitta imbalances, here’s a more tailored guidance:

First, let’s talk about diet. Incorporating warm, nourishing, and slightly heavy foods can pacify Vata. Focus on whole grains, dairy, nuts, and seeds. Pitta might benefit from cooling foods like milk products, ghee, and sweet and bitter vegetables. Avoid excessively spicy or fried meals that may trigger imbalances.

Herbal remedies can be quite effective as well. Ashwagandha and Shatavari are known for their rejuvenating properties, enhancing stamina and vitality. Take 1 teaspoon of Ashwagandha powder with warm milk daily, or consider a supplement. Another herb, Gokshura, is also supported traditionally for sexual health. Always consult an ayurvedic practitioner before starting new supplements, especially if you’re on other medication.

Practicing mindfulness and stress-relieving techniques like Pranayama and meditation can also be beneficial, as stress plays a big role in performance. Yogic practices like Vajrasana post-meal and Viparita Karani can improve stamina and rejuvenate energy levels.

Additionally, sticking to a regular sleep schedule and enabling proper rest is essential for regulating hormones. It’s vital to maintain a balance between desire and action.

Moderate regular exercise can improve endurance but ensure it’s not excessively draining. For intimate times, gradual desensitization techniques along with Kegel exercises can help. Try to focus on the sensations and stay relaxed, as stress and performance pressure can shorten endurance time.

Remember, lasting changes take time and patience is your ally. Consistency is key in adapting these practices to see appreciable results, alongside fostering open communication with your partner, which can also enhance intimacy and mutual satisfaction.
