I am really confused about something and hoping someone here can help. I’m 17 and have been doing a lot of research about growth spurts and height. I’ve read different things about whether or not life habits affect our height. Now, one of my friends mentioned that, like, does masterbation increase height or could it somehow mess with my growth? I mean, I thought I was pretty normal but recently I heard some conflicting info. I’ve been, you know, just trying to figure out how to maximize my height before I stop growing. Like, my dad is really tall and I kinda thought I’d be too, but I’m still below average for my age and it’s been bothering me. I feel like if I could just do *something*, anything really, to get a couple of extra inches, that would totally help! Is there any connection or even a scientific study about does masterbation increase height or is it just something people say? I mean, do the hormones or something that get released through it do anything to growth? I guess I'm also wondering if focusing too much on stuff like this is more harmful than good.
