how to improve my sex power - #39020

Chloe

I am feeling pretty frustrated lately with my stamina and overall sex power. Last month, I started noticing that I get tired really quickly during intimate moments, and it’s not just me feeling it — my partner has picked up on it too. It's kinda awkward, right? 😬 I thought it might be a temporary phase, but it hasn’t gotten better, and honestly, I haven't been feeling like myself. I thought about looking into some Ayurvedic methods because I’ve heard they can really help with energy and vitality, including how to improve my sex power. I read somewhere about herbs like Ashwagandha and Ginseng that can boost energy, but honestly, I’m overwhelmed. Should I be looking at my diet, too? I've been stressed at work lately, and I think that’s contributing, but I don't know if it's all in my head or what. Sometimes I feel like it's just my body not keeping up, you know? I’ve tried a few things, but nothing seems to stick. What can I do to really, like, boost my sex power in a natural way?? Any specific suggestions or routines you think may help? Thanks in advance!

Doctors' responses

Feeling low stamina can indeed be disconcerting, and stress from work can play a significant role in how you’re feeling. Ayurveda, focusing on harmony and balance, can provide practical solutions for enhancing vitality and sex power, addressing both body and mind. Begin with understanding your dosha constitution; this will help tailor the recommendations to truly benefit you.

First, Ashwagandha is a renowned adaptogenic herb in Ayurveda. It supports stress response and boosts stamina. You could take about 300 mg of Ashwagandha extract, twice daily with warm milk or warm water preferably before meals. This may help in enhancing vitality and energy levels naturally. Consider adding Gokhshura (Tribulus terrestris) too, that’s another great herb for improving vitality.

Dietary changes can be equally impactful. Incorporate foods that support digestive fire (Agni) and balance your doshas. Try including almonds, dates soaked overnight, ghee in your diet. Make sure to add grains like barley and rice, as these are easily digestible and support energy levels. Avoid heavy, oily, or overly spicy foods that can aggravate any imbalances, particularly Pitta or Kapha imbalances causing fatigue.

Rest and recuperation also play a crucial role. Prioritize 7-8 hours of quality sleep. Consider a bedtime routine with a warm herbal tea like chamomile, and disconnect from digital screens at least 30 mins before bed.

Managing stress is essential. Regular practice of yoga and meditation can significantly help reduce stress, balancing your mental state. Pranayama (breathing exercises) are particularly effective in calming the mind. Try Anulom Vilom and Bhramari pranayama every morning for 10 minutes.

Consistency in these practices is key. Sometimes, noticeable changes can take time, so patience is vital. If problems persist, it’s advisable to consult with a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner who can offer more personalized recommendations based on a detailed understanding of your unique constitution and health status.
