Burning sensation in your hands may arise due to an imbalance in the Pitta dosha, possibly aggravated by taking Tentex Royal for an extended period. Stopping the medication was a wise initial step. To help soothe this sensation, focus on pacifying the Pitta. Begin with dietary changes: consume cooling foods like cucumbers, sweet fruits, and aloe vera juice consistently. Reduce spicy, acidic, or excessively hot foods, which can intensify Pitta.
Stay hydrated with coconut water or herbal teas that are cooling in nature, such as peppermint or licorice tea. You might also find relief from applying coconut oil or aloe vera gel to the hands, as these substances can offer a cooling, soothing effect externally.
Regarding your personal issues for which you were taking Tentex Royal, you’d want to engage in Ayurvedic practices that are gentle and supportive of overall reproductive health. Ashwagandha is a beneficial herb due to its adaptogenic properties, which help to restore energy and balance without causing irritation. A moderate amount, perhaps 500mg once or twice daily with warm milk, could be beneficial. Gokshura may also help, but, always ensure sourcing from reputable suppliers to avoid contamination risks.
For lifestyle, it’s vital to manage stress and enhance circulation think of practices such as yoga, especially poses like baddha konasana or pranayama techniques like alternate nostril breathing. Regular exercise that’s not too strenuous can also help in maintaining balance. Ensure you’re getting enough sleep, and avoid tipping into late nights which can elevate Pitta.
Given your concerns about heavy metals, prioritize sourcing herbal supplements from trusted brands that provide proper certification and have transparent quality control measures. If symptoms of burning persist, or you feel uncertain about any treatment, consideration of a follow-up with a healthcare practitioner is advised.
