Hello, I‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ really sympathize that your hair keeps falling and you are emotionally drained by this fact.

Hair is one of the things most related to people’s identity, confidence, and self-expression. When it happens that hair is getting thin, dry, frizzy, and still falling even though one is on a good diet and is experiencing low stress, it is quite a natural reaction to feel scared and have no power over the situation.

✅ Understanding Your Hair Loss in Ayurvedic Terms

Even though stress and diet are still good, Ayurveda is not satisfied with this and looks deep inside the body:

👉 Vata Imbalance (main cause) Your dryness, frizz, rough texture, and weak roots are absolutely the symptoms of high Vata. Vata takes the life out of the scalp, reduces natural oils, and weakens follicles.

👉 Mild Pitta Disturbance This brings the heat in the scalp, the damage of very small follicles, and dullness.

👉 Rasa–Rakta Dhatu Kshaya Even if the diet is perfect, the nutrients may not get to the hair roots because of:

weak digestion poor absorption blocked channels chronic dhatu depletion

👉 Hair Loss Pattern Suggests Srotorodha

Srotorodha means that channels are blocked → hair is not getting the required nourishment.

All this together makes up Vata-Pitta Kshaya — the main reason for long-term hair fall in young women.

✅ AYURVEDIC PLAN OF MANAGEMENT

✅INTERNAL MEDICATION

1. Narasimha Rasayanam (Morning) 1 tsp followed by warm water The most effective one to strengthen hair roots, build tissue, and bring back the shine.

2. Brahmi Ghrita (Night) 1 tsp at bed time Absolutely the right choice for Vata-Pitta imbalance. Works: scalp calming nutrition improving sleeping better (which is very important for hair)

3.Groo 1-0-1 after food (Formula to nourish Rasa & Rakta dhatu and hair)

4. Bhringarajasava (2 tsp twice daily after food) The chronic hair loss, dryness, and breakage are the most common causes where the med is used.

These drugs in combination work from within thus making the follicles strong and bringing the shedding to a stop.

✅EXTERNAL CARE (Very Important)

👉Medicated Oils Use 3–4 times/week.

Best options: Neelibhringadi Taila Bhringamalakadi Taila Gently warm your oil → massage → leave for 45 minutes → rinse.

👉 Shampoo Routine

Do not use chemical-based products. Instead, use herbal cleansers such as:

Amla, Reetha, Shikakai, Hibiscus leaf powder If you are using shampoo, it should be sulphate-free and gentle.

👉Weekly Hair Masks

Once per week, you can apply:

Mask 1: Amla + Brahmi + Aloe Vera Gel Feeds and hydrates.

Mask 2: Methi (Fenugreek) powder + Coconut Milk Holds hair fall back & gives shine.

✅ DIET AND LIFESTYLE MODIFICATION

✔ Foods that nourish hair

They reconstruct Rasa & Rakta dhatu:

Cow ghee (1 tsp/day) Black sesame seeds (black til) Dates 2–3 daily Almonds & walnuts (soaked) Amla candy or juice Coconut water Mung dal soup Green leafy vegetables

❌ Avoid foods that increase Vata-Pitta

Too much tea/coffee Going to bed late Dry, stale snacks Bakery foods Spicy & fried foods Chemical treatments for hair Hard water for head bath

✔ Hydration Tip Keep drinking warm water all day long — this will facilitate the supply of nutrients to the scalp.

✅ HOME REMEDIES

👉 Amla + Bhringraj Juice (1 tbsp each) Every morning. Great hair growth enhancer.

👉Methi Water 1 tsp methi seeds to be soaked overnight → Morning: drink water + chew seeds. Follicles get stronger.

👉 Curry Leaves Tea Curry leaves 5–6 to be boiled in water. Helps melanin & hair become thicker.

👉Aloe Vera Gel (fresh) Put it on your scalp 1–2 times/week to help with the dryness.

You’re Not Alone — Your Hair Can Heal

Your hair roots are still alive. With the right Ayurvedic guidance, they can regain strength, shine, and volume. I am here to support you at every step.

Wishing you a good hair 😊

Warm regards, Dr Snehal ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌Vidhate

HELLO SIR/MAM,

You’ve been losing hair for 2 years, and when hair fall continues for this long, it usually means the roots have become weak from inside, even if your stress level is low and your diet seems good. Dryness, frizziness, and dullness also show that the scalp is not getting enough nourishment, and the hair shaft is not receiving proper oils and minerals. Sometimes, even when we feel healthy, silent deficiencies like Vitamin D, B12, ferritin (iron) or minor hormonal imbalance can slowly weaken the roots.

Ayurveda calls this a combination of Vata (dryness) + Pitta (heat/inflammation) imbalance in the scalp. If not corrected from inside, hair oils alone won’t stop the fall.

The good news is—hair loss can be reduced and reversed, but it

needs a combination of: ✔️ internal strengthening ✔️ good scalp oiling ✔️ simple food corrections ✔️ checking nutrients Hair needs time to regrow (6–12 weeks), but recovery is very much possible.

🌿 Internal Medicines (Start with Ama Pachana)

1. Ama Pachana (first 7 days) Amapachana Vati – 2 tablets twice daily after food for 7 days After 7 days, start the following along with diet changes: 2. Internal Hair Medicines (6–8 weeks) Bhringraj Capsule – 1 capsule twice daily after meals Amla Capsule or Amla Powder – 1 capsule twice daily OR 1 tsp powder at night Keshya Rasayanam / Kesharista – 10 ml with equal water twice daily after meals

🌿 External Hair Oils (very important) Use 2–3 times per week: Neelibhringadi Oil OR Bhringraj Oil Apply 1 hour before hair wash. Shampoo only 2–3 times a week, not daily.

🥗 Diet (simple & practical) 5–6 soaked almonds every morning 1 teaspoon ghee in lunch Include moong dal, leafy greens, coconut, sesame seeds Eat 2 dates daily Avoid dry foods: popcorn, chips, deep-fried items Reduce too much tea/coffee

🧪 Important Investigations Silent deficiencies cause long-term hair loss. Please do: Vitamin D Vitamin B12 Ferritin (iron stores) Thyroid profile (TSH, T3, T4) These are often the hidden cause even in low-stress people.

❌ Do & Don’t Do: ✔️ Oil hair twice a week ✔️ Use mild shampoo ✔️ Eat warm, nourishing food ✔️ Tie hair loosely

Don’t: ❌ Wash hair with very hot water ❌ Use tight ponytails ❌ Skip meals ❌ Use harsh chemical shampoos

💛 Your hair fall is not permanent, and the dryness and frizz can definitely be reversed. With regular Ayurvedic internal support, good oiling, and checking your nutrients, you can stop the hair fall and slowly regain thickness and shine. Hair recovery takes time, but it always responds when the root causes are corrected.

I’m here if you need a weekly routine or help selecting the exact medicine brands.

Warm regards, Dr. Karthika

Hair loss occuring over a prolonged period often involves several factors. According to Ayurveda, it’s crucial to identify dosha imbalances that might be contributing to your condition—Vata and Pitta doshas are often involved in hair issues. Your symptoms suggest an imbalance in these doshas, leading to dryness and dullness.

First, focus on nurturing your hair through diet and lifestyle. An internal balance is key: incorporate foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids like flaxseeds and walnuts to nourish and thicken the hair. Drinking warm water infuses with organic herbs such as brahmi and amla helps restore internal balance. Avoid caffeine and fried foods as they can aggravate Pitta, intensifying hair fall.

Ayurvedic hair treatments can be beneficial too. Apply warm sesame or coconut oil infused with bhringraj or neem to your scalp twice a week. Massage gently with your fingertips in circular motions to enhance blood circulation and promote growth. Let the oil sit for at least 1-2 hours before washing off with a mild herbal shampoo.

Also consider shirodhara therapy, which drips warm oil over the forehead, bring balance to the mind and body. This can help combat stress, a known contributor to hair loss.

Regularly practicing yoga and meditation helps in maintaining mental calmness, reducing stress which may further minimize the hair loss. Additionally, apply a hair mask made from yogurt and hibiscus powder weekly. Leave it on for 30 minutes before rinsing off, to add hydration and shine.

Ensure your digestive fire, or agni, is strong as it helps in absorbing nutrients that are vital for healthy hair. Adding ginger and cumin in meals can support your digestion. If the hair loss is severe, consulting a professional Ayurvedic physician for a tailored plan would be valuable.

HELLO,

From your symptoms- dryness, frizz, looks dull - Ayurveda recognises a pattern mainly due to

A) VATA AGGRAVATION (major cause) Vata controls dryness, movement, and circulation. When vata becomes imbalanced -hair becomes dry, rough, frizzy -ends become tangled -hair shafts becomes weak and brittle -hairfall occurs even without touching

VATA INCREASES DUE TO -stress -irregular routines -inadequate sleep -excesss screen time -dry foods and cold drinks -skipping oiling -frequent hair washing -excess cold exposure

B) PITTA INVOLVEMENT Pitta governs metabolism and hair root strength If pitta becomes disturbed -scalp heat increase -root strength reduces -hair fall becomes chronic You mentioned you’re generally healthy, so this seems mild, but still contributes to hair fall

C) DHATU KSHAYA (nutritional deficiency of tissues) Hair is a by-product of Asthi dhatu (bone tissue) When this dhatu becomes weak due to poor nourishment or digestion, hair loses -strength -thickness -moisture -growth potential

OVERALL your hair issue is NOT just external It is due to internal dryness + weakened roots + poor nourishment + aggravated vata

TREATMENT GOALS -reduce vata and restore moisture In scalp and hair -strengthen roots and improve blood circulation to hair follicles -improve nutrition to hair tissues -detox scalp and removes blockage -enhance digestion and absorption

INTERNAL TREATMENT

1) BHRINGRAJ TABLET= 2 tabs twice daily after meals for 3 months = best herb for hair regrowth, nourishes hair follicles, promotes black, strong hair, reduces hair fall dramatically

2) AMALAKI RASAYANA= 1 tsp every morning after breakfast for 3 months = rich in vitamin c, strengthens collagen of hair, promotes shiny, healthy hair, improves immunity + slows ageing of hair

3) BRAHMI GHRITA= 1 tsp at bedtime with warm milk for 60 days =calms vata, reduces dryness, improves sleep very important for hair, nourishes brain scalp pathway

4) TRIPHALA CHURNA= 1 tsp with warm water at bedtime for 2 months =improves digestion and absorption, removes toxins, enhances nutrients availability to hair roots

5) YASHTIMADHU + FENUGREEK POWDER MIX= 1/2 tsp each in warm water morning for 2 months =improves hair’s natural protein, deep hydration effects, reduce hair thinning, mild hormonal balancing

EXTERNAL TREATMENTS

1) HAIR OILS - Ksheerbala oil + neelibringadi oil= best for dryness + hair fall warm slightly before use =restores natural scalp oil , stops tangling of ends, strengthens hair roots, improves blood supply

2) HAIR MASK -Fenugrrek + aloe vera mask= soak 2 tbsp fenugreek overnight grind and aloe vera gel =hydrates, reduces frizz, strengthen roots

-Curd + banana + honey mask =treats extreme dryness, detangles, stops breakage

3) AYURVEDIC CLEANSING Use mild shampoos -Shikakai + reetha + amla powder OR -any sulfatefree ayurvedic shampoo Avoid hot water

DIET -ghee 1-2 tsp/day -almonds, walnuts, black sesame -milk, buttermilk - coconut/coconut water -mung dal, lentils -green leafy vegetables -seasonal fruits -warm, cooked meals

AVOID -dry snacks (chips, biscuits, namkeen) -excess tea/coffee -highly spicy foods - overuse of curd at night - cold drinks, ice creams -junk food - smoking/alcohol

LIFESTYLE CHANGES

HAIR CARE HABITS -comb gently with a wooden wide tooth comb -oil hair regularly -use warm (not hot) water -protect from direct harsh sun

AVOID -daily hair washing -chemical treatments -hair strengtheners, hot blow drying -sleeping with wet hair -tight hairstyles

YOGA AND PRANAYAM

YOGA ASANAS -adho mukha svanasana -vajrasana -sarvangasana -matsyasana -uttanasana These bring blood to the scalp naturally

PRANAYAM -Anulom vilom= 10 min -bhramari= 5 min -Sheetali/sitkari= for cooling pitta -Deep diaphragmatic breathing

BENEFIT -reduces stress a big cause of hairfall -improves scalp circulation

HOME REMEDIES

A) OVERNIGHT OIL + STEAM TOWEL -apply oil, wrap in warm towel-> repairs damaged hair

B) CURRY LEAF WATER -boil 10-15 leaves in water, drink 3-4 times weekly. -> rich in hair nutrients

C) HIBISCUS FLOWER PASTE -apply to scalp-> strengthens roots, adds shine

D) ONION JUICE (if no dryness or sensitivity) -only once a week-> promotes regrowth (avoid if scalp is very dry)

Your condition is primarily due to vata imbalance causing dryness and weakness of hair roots. This is fully reversible with regular oiling, internal nourishment, gentle hair care, ayurvedic medicines, and lifestyle balancing. Ayurveda works slowly but gives deep, long lasting results without side effects

DO FOLLOW

HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL
