Hira Bhasma is an extremely potent medicine reserved for severe, life-threatening conditions. It is not suitable or necessary for general indigestion or poor gut health.

Prescription Chitrakadi Vati: 2 tablets twice daily before meals. Takrarishta: 20ml mixed with water, twice daily after meals. Lavan Bhaskar Churna: ½ tsp with warm water or buttermilk after meals. Bilwadi Churna: 1 tsp with warm water once daily.

Dietary & Lifestyle Advice Drink Fresh Buttermilk (Takra) with a pinch of roasted Jeera and Black Salt daily after lunch. This is the best cure for Grahani.

Avoid: Raw salads, Milk, heavy dairy, and Maida. Activity: Sit in Vajrasana (Thunderbolt pose) for 10 minutes after meals to aid digestion.

Hello, I‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ get your point clearly. You know, when your stomach is always upset and your gut is unhealthy for a long time, it affects your energy, mood, and general immunity. But please, do not panic — this can be fixed by a step-by-step Ayurvedic treatment.

✅ YOUR CONDITION (AYURVEDIC UNDERSTANDING)

From your symptoms: – Poor gut health for more than 6 months – Indigestion – No major dietary changes

It indicates the following: – Agnimandya (digestive fire is very weak) – Aam formation (impurities accumulated due to long-standing indigestion) – Vata imbalance (mostly responsible for flatulence, heaviness of the stomach, irregular digestion)

CALCIUM BUTY AND HIRA BHASMA

👉 Hira Bhasma

Helps in deep tissue regeneration, strengthens the digestive system

However, it is very strong, so which should only be taken under strict supervision

👉 Calcium Butyrate (Calcium Buty)

Helps in the repair of the intestinal lining Is helpful in cases of IBS, indigestion, and leaky gut Safe if a qualified doctor gives the prescription

👉 Yes, you may take Calcium Buty and Hira Bhasma only if your doctor has examined you and given you a prescription.

These are medicines are quite strong and are not for self-prescription. If the dosage is right, they will be effective in healing your gut.

AYURVEDIC TREATMENT PLAN (Safe and effective gut therapy)

1. INTERNAL MEDICINES

1. Hingvastak Churna ½ tsp with the first bite of food, twice daily → Improves digestion instantly

2. Trikatu Churna ¼ tsp after lunch for 1 month → Gets rid of Aam, and promotes enzyme secretion

3.Amlapittantak Ras 1 tablet two times a day before food → Gives relief from acidity + strengthens gut lining

👉Buttermilk (Takra) with Jeera ½ glass after lunch daily → Perfect for long-term indigestion → Helps the gut microbiome to get healthy naturally

GUT HEALING DIET PLAN

✔INCLUDE

Soft khichdi with ghee Warm soups (moong, rice water, dal water) Steamed vegetables Cumin + ajwain water Homemade curd or buttermilk Fruits like papaya, banana, apple Ghee (½–1 tsp daily)

❌ Completely Avoid

Fried food Excess tea/coffee Cold drinks Multigrain rotis Very spicy food Junk food Eating late at night

LIFESTYLE ADVICE

Take your meals at fixed times Water should not be taken immediately after meals Walk for 10–15 minutes after lunch & dinner Go to bed before 11 pm Long gaps between meals should be avoided

INVESTIGATIONS IF NEEDED

(Only if symptoms don’t improve in 1 month) H. pylori test Ultrasound abdomen CBC Stool test (for inflammation)

With proper Ayurvedic treatment, within 4–6 ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌weeks you will find improvement

Calcium Butyrate and Hira Bhasma are indeed used in Ayurveda for various health purposes. Calcium Butyrate is a supplement form of butyrate, essential for maintaining gut health by nourishing colonocytes and may potentially reduce inflammation in the gut. However, it’s typically not a traditional Ayurvedic remedy under such names; it’s more scientific, indicating a modern blend of health strategies. Hira Bhasma, on the other hand, is an Ayurvedic preparation made from diamond ash, used traditionally to boost vitality and improve digestion among other benefits. Usually, these should be taken under the strict supervision of a qualified ayurvedic professional due to their potency and potential for individual side effects particularly Hira Bhasma.

To decide if you should take these remedies, first consider your unique body constitution or ‘prakriti’ and the specific imbalances, or Vikriti affecting you. The balance of the three Doshas—Vata, Pitta, Kapha—is essential. If your problem is because of Vata imbalance, Butyrate might help as Vata often affects the colon health. Ensure that your gut health issues stem from digestive fire, or Agni, being either too low or too irregular.

Before starting these, work on dietary adjustments. Focus on cooking fresh meals using agni-boosting spices like ginger, cumin, and fennel. Avoid processed foods, opt for whole grains, and stay hydrated.

However, if the gut issues are severe, like intense pain, persistent diarrhea, or blood in the stool meets the condition, any delay in conventional medical care must be strictly avoided as these symptoms could reflect serious underlying medical conditions. Pay close attention to your body’s responses while you start on Calcium Butyrate or Hira Bhasma, and consult your Ayurvedic practitioner regularly to adjust or halt the remedy if necessary.

Calcium buty and hira bhasma are indeed used in traditional Siddha-Ayurvedic practices, often believed to support digestion and improve gut health. However, it is crucial to consider whether these remedies align with your specific dosha balance, your agni (digestive fire), and overall health condition before proceeding.

Calcium buty, often derived from seashells, is believed to help with controlling pitta-related imbalances, which can manifest as acid reflux, inflammation, or ulcers in the gut. Yet, for individuals with vata imbalance, this could potentially lead to worsening dryness or constipation, so it’s essential to consider the state of your doshas. Hira bhasma, made from natural diamond, is traditionally used for overall strength and vitality, sometimes believed to fortify the digestive system, but its use should be approached cautiously due to its potent nature.

To proceed safely, consult the vaidya who understands your health history and current state. They can offer guidance tailored to your unique prakriti and specific gut issues. This can help ensure these remedies are suitable for your dosha balance and current condition.

If you’re experiencing severe symptoms like ongoing pain, significant digestive distress, or any drastic changes in your health, it’s important to check with a healthcare provider to rule out serious conditions. Also, ensure these remedies do not interfere with any ongoing treatments or medications you’re taking. Proper diet adjustments, like increasing fiber intake or including digestive spices like cumin or ginger, can complement such treatments in supporting gut health.
