Doctors’ responses

Hello Madona, Your symptoms suggest a combination of digestive, urinary, and possibly hormonal issues. Since Triphala doesn’t consistently relieve constipation, it could be because of increased dryness in the intestines. Please try taking a medicated ghee under an Ayurvedic doctor’s guidance along with a high-fiber diet, increase water intake, and consider another mild laxative options with the doctor. As the thread treatment for piles wasn’t effective, a specialist could suggest alternative treatments like creams or minor procedures or try consulting another Ayurvedic surgeon who has good experience. Frequent urination could indicate a urinary tract infection, overactive bladder, or diabetes, so drinking water in smaller amounts and getting diagnostic tests may help. Hair loss might be linked to stress, nutritional deficiencies, or thyroid issues, so testing thyroid function, hormones, and nutrient levels could provide insight.

I understand the discomfort and challenges you are facing with your abdominal pain, severe constipation, frequent urination, and hair loss. Your symptoms suggest an imbalance in your digestive and urinary systems, which may be influenced by your current treatments and overall health. For your constipation and piles, while Triphala can be effective, it’s essential to ensure that it suits your body. If it’s not providing relief consistently, consider incorporating other herbal remedies like Psyllium husk (Isabgol), which can help soften the stool and promote regular bowel movements. Additionally, Haritaki can be beneficial for digestion and easing constipation. Focus on a diet rich in fiber, including fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, while ensuring adequate hydration to support your digestive health. Regarding frequent urination, it may be beneficial to assess your fluid intake and try to avoid excessive consumption of diuretic beverages like caffeine. Herbal remedies such as Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris) can help strengthen the urinary system and reduce urgency. For hair loss, consider using Bhringraj oil or Amla oil for scalp massages, as these herbs are known for promoting hair growth and strengthening hair follicles. Additionally, ensure you are consuming a balanced diet with sufficient vitamins and minerals, particularly iron and zinc, which are crucial for hair health. Since you have a complex set of symptoms, I recommend consulting with a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner for a thorough assessment. They can provide personalized treatment options and lifestyle recommendations tailored to your specific needs, helping to address the root causes of your discomfort and promote overall well-being.

Ah, that sounds like quite a mix of things troubling you. Let's try and sort it out, one step at a time alright? First off, the pain in your abdomen and severe constipation—these could relate to several different factors. Since Triphala seems to help sometimes, your digestion might be on the sluggish side. Triphala's great for regularizing bowels but if it ain't consistent, maybe your agni, or digestive fire, needs some care. Perhaps ghee could be incorporated into your diet. Take a teaspoon of ghee melted in warm water on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning. See if that brings some regularity. Now about the piles, I'm genuinely sorry the thread method made it worse. When piles flare up, avoiding things like spicy food, too much coffee, or alcohol is crucial. Warm sitz baths might provide some relief too. Just sit in warm water for about 10-15 minutes, preferably after a bowel movement. As for the frequent urination, since that's happening day and night and so soon after drinking, it might be best to check in with a doctor to rule out Diabetes or UTI. Meanwhile, light yoga and prāṇāyāma (especially cooling breath like Sheetali) can be beneficial in stabilizing your body’s energies. Hair loss... hmm, that's often linked with stress (and digestive issues too), so addressing the root cause will help here. Eating Amla or applying Brahmi oil could aid in nourishing your hair. Just apply oil a few hours before showering. Try avoiding harsh shampoos too, shoot for something mild. It's essential to ensure these recommendations fit your lifestyle and do consult a professional if any symptom persists or gets worse. Balancing your dosha and strengthening agni will ultimately contribute to overall wellness. Stay gentle on yourself, healing is a journey!
