Hair fall can be unsettling, especially when you’re seeing noticeable thinning. Given your background, let’s delve into some practical Ayurvedic solutions.

First things first, assess your diet — often, hair health is closely linked to nutritional intake. Incorporate foods rich in iron, omega-3 fatty acids, and Vitamin E. Mung beans, almonds, sesame seeds (til), and amla (Indian gooseberry) are fantastic for promoting hair health. You could add a handful of almonds and a spoon of sesame seeds to your daily meals. Include fresh coconut water in your routine; it’s hydrating and nourishing.

When it comes to hair oil, try using a traditional Ayurvedic oil such as Bhringraj oil. This powerful herb is known for stimulating hair growth and reducing hair loss. Massage your scalp gently with warm Bhringraj oil at least twice a week. Warming the oil aids in penetrating the hair follicles effectively. Leave it on for about an hour before washing it off with a mild natural shampoo.

Stress is a sneaky contributor to hair fall, so incorporating yoga and meditation into your routine can be incredibly helpful. Practicing 15-20 minutes daily can balance your mind and body, reducing stress-related hair loss.

Additionally, if you are open to taking supplements, consider Triphala; it’s a potent detoxifying herbal formulation that supports healthy digestion and promotes hair health from within. Take Triphala in powder form, one teaspoon with warm water before bed.

Finally, avoid excessive heat styling and harsh chemicals; they can exacerbate hair fall. Use Ayurvedic shampoos free from sulfates and parabens. It is crucial to avoid tying hair too tightly to prevent breakage.

These practices align well with Ayurvedic principles by balancing doshas and strengthening dhatus. It’s important to be consistent and patient with natural remedies; progress usually takes time. If you see no improvement, consider consulting an Ayurvedic doctor for a personalized assessment.
