Hello Thanks for reaching out. Dealing with constant gas and bloating can be a real pain and super awkward. But dont worry we are here to help you out 😊
YOUR CONCERN
Main issues: Always gassy, tummy feels heavy, bloated, farting a lot. How long: 1 to 4 weeks. What you’ve tried: Ajwain water every day. Is it helping? Not really. Food triggers? Nothing obvious.
AYURVEDIC UNDERSTANDING
Your symptoms definitely point to an imbalance in a couple of your body’s winds (Samana Vata and Apana Vata), plus your digestive fire (Agnimandya) is a bit weak.
WHY AJWAIN IS NOT HELPING YOU?
Ajwain is warm and drying. If you use it every day by itself, it might calm the gas for a bit, but it also dries things out and can make that wind imbalance even worse, which means more gas later.
What’s actually happening inside:
1. Weak digestion: Food isn’t breaking down like it should. 2. Fermentation: This happens in your gut, making extra gas. 3. Trapped gas: This gas can’t move out properly, leading to constant gas, bloating, and that heavy feeling.
This isn’t acidity, an infection, or anything serious. It’s just a common digestive hiccup, often seen with irregular meals, stress, cold food, or a dry diet.
TREATMENT GOALS
* Boost your digestion. * Get that gas moving normally. * Less bloating and heaviness. * Settle your upset wind. * Feel comfy in your tummy again.
AYURVEDIC PLAN OF TREATMENT
INTERNAL MEDICATION
1.Hingvashtak Churna: Half a teaspoon before meals, twice a day, with a little warm water. This is the best for gas, bloating, and heaviness.
2.Avipattikar Churna (if you’re still feeling heavy): Half a teaspoon at night with warm water. Helps digestion without making more gas. (Use for 2-3 weeks).
Change up your ajwain routine: * Stop drinking plain ajwain water every day. * Try this digestive water instead: Cumin + Coriander + Fennel water. Boil half a teaspoon of each in a liter of water. Sip it warm all day. This is gentler on your system and won’t dry you out.
DIET PLAN
✅INCLUDE Warm, freshly cooked meals, like rice, wheat, soft rotis, moong dal, cooked veggies. Plain buttermilk with lunch (not sour). 1-2 teaspoons of cow ghee daily.
❌AVOID Cold foods and drinks, raw salads, too much tea/coffee, bakery stuff, eating late, reheating food too many times.
Eating habits (often overlooked): * Only eat when you’re truly hungry. * Don’t drink water right after meals. * Eat calmly without distractions (like your phone or TV).
Lifestyle support: * Take a short, gentle walk after meals (10 minutes). * Don’t hold in gas or bowel movements. * Keep your tummy warm. * Try to lower your stress (stress makes gas worse).
This can totally be fixed. Ajwain alone isn’t enough, and sometimes it’s not even good for daily use. You don’t need strong meds. Get your digestion right, and the gas will go away naturally.

No worries Start with Hingwastaka churna 1/2-0-1/2 tsp after meals with warm water Chitrakadi vati 1-1-1 to be chewed Triphala churna 1 tsp at night
Avoid spicy sour fermented dry foods and raw salads
THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR CONDITION IN DETAIL
FROM WHAT YOU DESCRIBE THIS IS A LONG STANDING DIGESTIVE IMBALANCE WHERE THE INITIAL GERD HAS SETTLED INTO A PATTERN OF CHRONIC BLOATING GAS BELCHING AND CONSTIPATION OVER TIME WHEN DIGESTION REMAINS IRRITATED FOR MONTHS IT STARTS PRODUCING GAS INSTEAD OF PROPERLY PROCESSING FOOD AND THIS GAS THEN MOVES UPWARD CAUSING BELCHING AND DOWNWARD CAUSING FLATULENCE AND BLOATING THIS ALSO EXPLAINS WHY EXERCISE NOW FEELS UNCOMFORTABLE
IN SUCH CASES THE GOAL IS TO CALM THE STOMACH REDUCE GAS FORMATION AND RESTORE REGULAR BOWEL MOVEMENTS WITHOUT AGGRAVATING ACIDITY
YOU CAN CONSIDER AVIPATTIKAR CHURNA HALF TEASPOON AT NIGHT WITH LUKEWARM WATER DAILY HINGVASHTAK CHURNA HALF TEASPOON MIXED WITH A LITTLE GHEE BEFORE LUNCH AND DINNER AND TRIPHALA CHURNA HALF TEASPOON AT BEDTIME IF CONSTIPATION PERSISTS
EAT SIMPLE WARM COOKED MEALS AND TRY TO KEEP FOOD COMBINATIONS VERY BASIC FOR A FEW WEEKS NOTICE WHICH FOODS CAUSE IMMEDIATE BLOATING AND AVOID THEM FOR NOW DO NOT EAT IN A HURRY OR WHEN STRESSED AS THIS SIGNIFICANTLY WORSENS GAS
MODERATE WALKING IS BETTER THAN INTENSE EXERCISE UNTIL BLOATING REDUCES ONCE DIGESTION IMPROVES YOUR ABILITY TO EXERCISE WILL NATURALLY RETURN
IMPROVEMENT IN GAS AND BELCHING IS USUALLY SEEN WITHIN TWO TO THREE WEEKS IF MEDICINES ARE TAKEN REGULARLY AND MEALS ARE KEPT LIGHT IF SYMPTOMS CONTINUE OR WORSEN A PERSONALIZED REVIEW WILL BE REQUIRED TO ADJUST THE MEDICINES ACCORDING TO YOUR RESPONSE
Follow some simple lifestyle changes and dietary changes and you will see results for your problem.
