Bump on Upper Eyelid: Painful and Itchy - #50377

I have a bump on my upper eyelid that's painful and itchy. It appeared two weeks ago and isn't getting any bigger, but it's not going away. What should I do about it?

Apply mukkadi purampada choorna around your eyelids after mixing the choorna with milk. Take punarnadi kashayam and chandraprabha vati tablets. Use triphala choorna boiled in water for 5 minutes as eye wash

Can you tell me the reason why I have this? I want to eliminate the cause of this, not just remove the symptoms.

Hey,
You are most probably having a stye. Those occur due to an inflammation in the eyelash bases. It can cause due to dust, polution, lack of hygiene around eye area, blepharitis etc.
If it happens to you often invest in an eye wash cup and a packet of triphala choorna. Use water boiled with triphala choorna cooled down to room Temp to wash the eyelids regularly. Doing this will not only prevent any similar infections but also improves vision and overall eye health
