I consulted many dr they told me both my Vata and Pitta r imbalanced. My symptoms- loose motion, gas ,bloating, Dry skin, Downwards acidity at night, red skin rash on cheeks, frequent hunger, feeling cold 24/7, dizziness on empty stomach.Drying/cooling/ med like kutajghan or cooling fruits(like watermelon) r worsening bloating & digestion . CURRENTLY I took Dadimashtak on dr advise - now my motion is wellformed ( no med except this worked) but Very Slightly sticky . Now I feel even more cold with increased gas & dry skin, also mild stomach pain while passing motion. Is my Sticky motion bcoz of SAMAN vata or ama dosha.Pls suggest what to do further?

Hi! I’m an assistant to the Ask Ayurveda doctors. I’ve carefully reviewed your question.
I will explain your symptoms through the Ayurvedic perspective so you understand what is happening in your body as a whole.
Your symptoms suggest an imbalance of both Vata and Pitta doshas, which can lead to a complex interplay affecting your digestion and overall well-being. The loose motions, bloating, and gas indicate Vata disturbance, which often leads to irregular and unpredictable digestion. The dry skin and feeling cold further point to Vata’s qualities of dryness and coolness being predominant.
The red skin rash on your cheeks and downwards acidity at night are signs of Pitta imbalance. Pitta’s qualities of heat and sharpness can manifest as inflammation and acidity, especially affecting your skin and digestion.
The frequent hunger and dizziness on an empty stomach suggest a strong but possibly irregular Agni (digestive fire), which can be exacerbated by both Vata and Pitta imbalances. The sticky stools you describe could be related to Ama (toxins) accumulation, which occurs when digestion is weak and incomplete.
Overall, Ayurveda views these symptoms as interconnected, arising from systemic imbalances rather than isolated issues. The interplay between Vata’s dryness and Pitta’s heat can exacerbate your symptoms if not balanced properly. The feeling of increased coldness and dry skin after taking Dadimashtak suggests that while it helped form your stools, it might not fully address the Vata aspect of your imbalance.
