I have IBS and taking Ayurvedic treatment from 3 months which includes Virechana followed by medicines. Currently all medicines are tapered and taking only Bilagyl leha. I'm having upper middle back pain since 4 months and 5 months back when first i faced hyper acidity, bloating and palpitations, that time got ultrasound scan and found 3-4mm gall stone. Need to know is it causing by gall stone or impact of severe hyper acidity faced initially for 1 month.

From an Ayurvedic perspective, this condition is mainly due to **Pitta Dosha imbalance affecting the digestive system, along with involvement of Vata Dosha causing pain. The history of hyperacidity suggests Amla Pitta, and improper digestion (Mandagni) may have led to formation of gallstones (considered as Ashmari). The back pain after meals indicates disturbed flow in the digestive channels (Annavaha Srotas). ----So, this is not just simple acidity — it is a combined imbalance of Pitta and Vata affecting digestion and biliary function. ----Diagnosis Amlapitta + Grahani Pitta–Vata dushti Suspected Pittaja Ashmari — Rx 1) Bilagyl Leha – 2 tsp bd after food 2) avipathikar Churna – 3 gm bd before food 3) Aimil Amlycure ds – 2 tsp bd after food 4) Arogyavardhini Vati – 1 tab bd after food 5) Vilwadi Lehyam – 1 tsp BD after food — External 6) Aimil Muscalt Oil – local application BD — Pathya Light, warm diet; avoid oily/spicy food – follow up after 15 days

My treating doctor prescribed Bilagyl 1 teaspoon For gall stone Pithorin tablet 1-0-1 Tikta kashaya 15ml-0-15ml

This is the impact of gall stone as u side upper mild back pain, continue with the prescribed medication they are also good, plus add SYP amyron 2 tsf twice daily after meal

From an Ayurvedic view, your symptoms relate to imbalance of Pitta (acidity) and possible involvement of Pittashaya (gallbladder) How to differentiate: 1. If due to Gallstone (Pittashmari) Pain after meals, especially oily/spicy food Felt in upper abdomen → mid/upper back Can be steady, dull or gripping Sometimes heaviness, nausea Your clue: pain worsening after meals + known stone (3–4 mm) 2. If due to Hyperacidity (Amlapitta) Burning in chest/upper abdomen Pain more related to empty stomach or acidity flare Associated with gas, bloating, sour belching Back pain is secondary, not primary Ayurvedic Understanding in your case You have chronic Amlapitta + IBS (Grahani) But meal-related back pain strongly indicates gallbladder involvement Hyperacidity may be aggravating the sensitivity, not the main cause Avoid oily, fried, very spicy food (protect Pitta & gallbladder) Eat light, warm, timely meals Continue digestion-supporting medicines like Bilagyl leha Add Pitta-pacifying diet (coriander water, fennel, small cumin use)

1.Avipattikar churna 1/2 tsp twice daily with warm water after melas 2.Arogyavardhini vati 2 tab twice daily with water after meals 3.Pithorin Tablet 1 tab twice daily with water after meals 4.Amlycure DS Syrup 2 tsp twice daily after meals 5.Vilwadi lehyam 1 tsp twice daily with warm water or milk after meals Diet & Lifestyle Adjustments (Pathya) -Avoid Triggers: Strictly limit oily, deep-fried, and excessively spicy foods, as these force the gallbladder to work harder. -Small, Frequent Meals: Instead of three large meals, eat smaller portions to reduce the digestive load. -Cooling Liquids: Sip on coriander or fennel water throughout the day to soothe Pitta. -Local Relief: You can apply a warm herbal oil, such as Muscalt Oil, to the localized back area for dull ache relief.
