sounds like you are dealing with Post-Typhoid Syndrome and significant gut dysbiosis. Typhoid and the heavy course of antibiotics (like Ceftriaxone and Sulbactam) you received often deplete the “good” bacteria in the gut, leading to inflammation, gas, and poor nutrient absorption, which explains your low energy and back pain. In Ayurveda, this is viewed as Manda Agni (weak digestive fire) and Vata imbalance caused by the harshness of the illness and the “Ushna” (hot) nature of the medications. I have prescribed medication for you take them consistently, and you will see the results if you have any issue or problem, you can consult on my personal consultation. ✅ Do’s • Deepan-Pachan Diet: Eat only when hungry. Start with Mung Dal Khichdi or Peya (thin rice water) with a pinch of ginger and black salt. • Warm Water: Drink lukewarm water throughout the day to help the “Vata” move downward. • Buttermilk (Takra): Freshly prepared buttermilk with roasted cumin powder and ginger is excellent for restoring gut flora. • Rest: Your body is still recovering from a major systemic infection; avoid heavy lifting or long walks until the back pain subsides. ❌ Don’ts • Heavy Foods: Avoid milk, curd (at night), red meat, and deep-fried snacks. • Raw Foods: Avoid raw salads or sprouts for now; they are hard to digest and will increase gas. • Suppression: Do not suppress natural urges (flatulence or bowel movements). • Daytime Sleeping: Avoid sleeping immediately after meals, as it slows down digestion further.

Post-typhoid, this is usually gut weakness + disturbed digestion (post-antibiotic imbalance) causing gas, rumbling, pain, low appetite, and fatigue. Back pain on walking can be weakness + muscle depletion. Do this: Eat light, warm, easy-to-digest food (khichdi, soups) Avoid milk, fried, spicy, and raw foods for now Small frequent meals, don’t skip food Gentle walking only, no heavy exertion Home support: Warm ajwain water after meals 1 tsp ghee in warm rice at night Hydration + rest Medicines: Hingvastak churna – 1/2 tsp twice daily after food Bilva churna – 1 tsp twice daily before food Triphala churna – 1 tsp at bedtime If appetite keeps dropping or pain increases, stool test + GI review is advised.
