Suffering from dry cough for the last 15 days. Please advise. BP is normal 120/80. No sugar Precautions and medicine please.

●One ripe banana, one teaspoon of honey, and two pinches of black pepper powder. Eat these three together. This soothes the throat, soothes a dry cough, and boosts the body’s immunity. This can be taken 2-3 times a day. ●Yashtimadhu (Liquorice) + Ginger Tea Method: Take equal parts of licorice and dried ginger (1/2 teaspoon each), boil them in a cup of water and make a tea. Benefits: Liquorice soothes inflammation of the respiratory tract. Ginger improves digestion and lung circulation. Usage: 1-2 times daily.

Hello I can understand that having a dry cough for 15 days with sore throat can be quite irritating, especially when nothing is giving relief. In your case, this looks like a persistent dry cough due to throat irritation and Vata–Pitta imbalance, where dryness causes continuous coughing and Pitta causes irritation in throat. Focus should be on soothing the throat, reducing dryness, and calming irritation. Start Sitopaladi churna ½ tsp with honey twice daily Talisadi churna ½ tsp with honey twice daily Yashtimadhu tablet 1 tablet twice daily Drink warm water throughout the day and you can take turmeric milk at night for soothing effect. Avoid cold drinks, curd at night, fried and spicy food as they can increase throat irritation. Do steam inhalation once daily and try to keep your throat warm. If cough persists beyond 3 weeks or you develop fever, breathlessness, or chest pain, then further evaluation like chest check-up may be needed.
