How to improve lung health and reduce inhaler dependency after asthma attack in a postpartum woman? - #54087
I am a 29 year old female. I delivered a baby in Aug 25. Since Aug 25, I was suffering from persistent cough and frequent colds for 3 months. I had mild chest congestion as well. All this time, I had poor sleep as I had to manage office with baby care. In Nov 25, I had an acute asthma attackand had to get admitted in emergency ward for treatment. No one in my family has any history of asthma. Since then, I am on inhaler (daily dose), though it is being tapered. But I want to be free from inhaler as I have to plan for another baby. Doctor says that if my next PFT comes better, she would reduce the dose. Please guide me how I can improve my lung health through ayurveda. I would like to state that in Aug 2023 also, i had a similar episode of cough anf chest tightness, but it got cured on its own andafter that I got pregnant and delivered my baby without any complications.
