••चार महीने का समय काफी लंबा होता है, इसलिए हमें इसमें दीपन-पाचन, वात-कफ शामक और स्रोतोरोgeneric चिकित्सा अपनानी होगी। आपकी सहायता के लिए एक प्रामाणिक आयुर्वेदिक चिकित्सा सूत्र नीचे दिया जा रहा है: ​1. मुख्य औषध योग (Oral Medications) ​आप इन क्लासिकल औषधियों का मिश्रण तैयार कर सकते हैं, जो कास के वेग को रोकेंगी और फेफड़ों की कार्यक्षमता बढ़ाएंगी: ••​सितोपलादि चूर्ण: 60 ग्राम (यह कफ का विलायन करता है और खुजली शांत करता है) ••​टंकण भस्म (शुद्ध): 5 ग्राम (यह जमे हुए कफ को निकालता है और ब्रोंकोडायलेटर का काम करता है) ••​अभ्रक भस्म (शतपुटी): 2 ग्राम (प्राणवह स्रोतस को बल देने और जीर्ण कास के लिए सर्वश्रेष्ठ) ••​यष्टीमधु चूर्ण (मुलेठी): 20 ग्राम (कंठ और सीने की खुजली व रुक्षता को कम करने के लिए) ••​सेवन विधि: इन सभी को आपस में अच्छी तरह मिला लें। इस मिश्रण की 3-3 ग्राम की पुड़िया (लगभग आधा चम्मच) दिन में तीन बार (सुबह, दोपहर, शाम) शहद के साथ चाटें। ​2. वटी और आसव (Tablets & Liquid) ​एलादि वटी या लवंगादि वटी: 1-1 गोली दिन में 3 से 4 बार चूसने के लिए रखें। इससे सीने और गले की खुजली (Tickling sensation) तुरंत शांत होगी। ••​कनकासव या वासcontentसव: 15-20 ml दवा में बराबर मात्रा में गुनगुना पानी मिलाकर सुबह-शाम भोजन के आधे घंटे बाद लें। (यह श्वास नलिकाओं के संकुचन को दूर करेगी)। ​3. स्थानीय एवं बाह्य उपचार (Local Therapies) ​चूंकि इतिहास शीत जल के सेवन का है, इसलिए प्राणवह स्रोतस में ‘शीत गुण’ बैठ गया है। इसके लिए: ••​उष्ण स्वेदन (Steam Inhalation): दिन में दो बार सादे पानी में थोड़ा सा पुदीना अर्क (Amrutanjan/Nilgiri oil) या केवल अजवायन डालकर भाप लें। ••​वक्ष प्रदेश पर लेप/मालिश: छाती और पीठ पर गुनगुने तिल के तेल में थोड़ा सा सेंधा नमक मिलाकर हल्के हाथ से मालिश करें, फिर सिकाई करें। ​4. पथ्य-अपथ्य (Diet & Lifestyle Restrictions) ​एक चिकित्सक के रूप में आप जानते ही हैं कि बिना ‘निदान परिवर्जन’ के चिकित्सा अधूरी है: ••​अपथ्य (पूरी तरह बंद करें): फ्रिज का पानी, कोल्ड ड्रिंक्स, आइसक्रीम, दही, खट्टे पदार्थ (नींबू, इमली), केला, और मैदा। रात में देर से भोजन करना बंद करें। ••​पथ्य (सेवन करें): केवल गुनगुना पानी ही पीएं (गुनगुने पानी में थोड़ा सा सोंठ चूर्ण मिला सकते हैं)। भोजन में लहसुन, अदरक, काली मिर्च और हल्के सुपाच्य आहार (जैसे मूंग की दाल की खिचड़ी) को प्राथमिकता दें।
