I have incidences of anxiety most times during the day. I am 55 years a female. It also affects my mood and makes me feel weak. I also experience dry eye, Hot flashes, headaches and general body pains.

Firstly, it’s important to pacify Vata dosha by incorporating warm, moist and grounding foods into your diet. Focus on warm cooked meals—like soups, stews and porridge, which are easier to digest and nourish the body. Use natural oils, such as sesame or ghee, generously. Spices like cumin, coriander, and fennel can improve your agni (digestive fire).

Herbal support can also be beneficial. Ashwagandha is a renowned adaptogen which helps in managing anxiety and supports energy levels. Take ashwagandha powder with warm milk in the evening. I use Panchakarma when needed, but also a lot of ahara-vihara tweaks, medhya herbs, sometimes just slowing ppl down a bit helps. I really believe Ayurveda’s power is in its simplicity when done right. I don’t try to fix ppl—I work *with* them. And honestly, every patient teaches me something back.

Long-term healing needs long-term clarity — not just short bursts of symptom relief. And honestly, I tell patients that too. I also believe patient education isn’t optional. I explain things.
